Lucy woke me up at around 2am this morning vomiting. She also had runny poop and generally seemed to be feeling pretty sick. She spent most of the night huddled on one of my sweaters in the back of my closet.
No improvement when I woke up this morning, so I called the vet when it opened and made an appointment.
I then had to go out for an about an hour & when I came back to get Lucy for the vet trip, she had perked up incredibly. I got her to eat and keep down some chicken baby food and to also drink some water (from the bathroom faucet, of course).
I think she's still a little dehydrated (her skin's snapping back normally, but her gums feel a little sticky), but as long as I can keep her drinking water and the vomiting and runny poop don't come back: vet trip canceled.
Whatever it was seems to have passed. Yea Lucy!
