  3. Evening all, it's another warm evening here. We had rain today and we really needed it too. So it's warm and damp outside tonight.
HRH is already inside and curled up on Mr MS's recently vacated chair, the mice must be sticking to their holes tonight and hunting too difficult for her.
    Reading back posts.

  4. Evening Jan, wish I was inside and curled up in bed, lol.

  5. You're inside but just not the place you'd rather be inside in.
    I think that made sense.
Mum and I met Snuggles the tuxedo cat today. What a lovely girl she is, loves to talk and quite biddable too. Apparently she will see off any cat on her territory which is great as all the neighbourhood cats have gravitated to Mums place since Mitzi passed over the Rainbow Bridge last year. She loves snuggling up on laps and also loves to sit by and 'direct' when you are in the garden. We pick her up on Sunday.

  6. Lol, true I am inside but not my preference of inside! How great that you Mum and Snuggles are a match :)

  7. Now I have to hand back one of Mitzi's plates that Mum gave to Shadz. Oh well, it's for a lovely cat.
Not sure how long I'll be on tonight, last night was a late one and I've been yawning all day.

  8. Understandable, today was a long one for me too. Finally fell asleep around 6pm this evening and got up in time to see the German lady ejected from the 2 man bobsled, thank goodness she wasn't hurt (about 9 pm my time). But its my Friday and thank goodness I can go home, do my morning walk and then sleep.

  9. Ahhhhhh the delumpifying walk. I haven't had time to do any lately, just hoping that all the running around I'm doing is the equivalent of a walk.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  10. The wall!!! You are probably doing more than the equivalent of a walk with the running around.

Posted 2 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  11. Yay, I finally got over the wall. 17 minutes this time. I wonder what happens at this time every night.
I was going to say something but by the time the wall disappeared so did my thought!

  12. Evening MS and Deb, how wonderful that Snuggles and your mum got on so well. I LOVE happy endings, especially when pussycats are involved. :)

We have finally worked out a way for me to send emails (until the broadband starts). I have a new Yahoo account and if I send the files from my normal email address to my Yahoo address, I can then forward them on to work. However, if I try to send them straight from my Yahoo address, it doesn't work. Of course I have to wait for them to arrive in my Yahoo address from my normal address.... on dial-up, that takes as long as sending them straight to work...

I have given up trying to understand computers!

  13. I didn't get my delumpifying walk today either! I was looking forward to it too. But we had such delicious sunshine today and I sat in it after work and my eyes closed.... Aarrrrgh, there goes my walking time.

  14. How nice that Snuggles likes to direct gardening operations. My two do as well but they never get their paws dirty, lol.

  15. Evening Jcat. Puters have a mind of their own. At least you have worked out a system to get them sent. How was your day?

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  16. Mostly frustrating, MS. I hate spending time on that sort of faffing around when I have solid work in front of me that needs to get done. But it was lovely and sunny! I am looking forward to the weekend...

I bet you are running around enough to delumpify. Do you do the pedometer thing? I did for a while but was so horrified at how little I did, that it mysteriously disappeared...

  17. Hey there Jane :)

Posted 2 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  18. Hi, Deb, got anything nice planned for your weekend?

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  19. Now I know where our sunshine went to, we had rain.
KK was attending the protest at parliament today about the Radio NZ cuts. I see about 100 people turned up. I haven't heard from her since, hope she was a good protester.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  20. I told her to shout a few well-chosen insults for me, MS.

I would be protesting too but I don't know how to do Facebook. Which I think might be a problem for quite a few Radio NZ listeners... but perhaps I'm doing them a disservice. I love the fact I can get the interviews on podcast!

  21. Jane, not much, walking every morning, weed guy is coming to spray deterrent on the weeds (doesn't harm animals but kills the weeds), and hope to put window film on the windows that is supposed to make them more energy efficient.

  22. You are really inspiring me to keep up the walking too, Deb, it's nice to have someone to share it with (despite me not getting out today).

I may have to stop in at the second-hand shop on the way to the shelter tomorrow... although I have been a bit naughty lately on the spending side, so I really shouldn't. I bought a proper cordless phone this week -- I still like my old plug-in phone better but I hardly ever hear it ring (sometimes it doesn't bother, lol) and my old answering machine gave up the ghost too...

  23. I'm getting tired here now. Airy has gone off to bed and I think I'll follow her example although I will be getting there earlier than she is. She's still on NZ time.
HRH is sound asleep inside and will probably migrate upstairs during the wee small hours to snuggle with me.
Goodnight Deb and Jcat. Headbonks to The crew and Libs & Jasper.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  24. Nighty-night, MS, sweet dreams and sleep well. It is after the witching hour so I think I had better follow your example! Scritches to HRH.

Nighty-night to you too, Deb, and sleep well after your walk. Enjoy your weekend! Scritches to the crew! Catch you tomorrow!

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  25. Night ladies, hope that you both sleep well and scritches to HRH, Jasper, & Libs in the morning. Jane, at least you are walking when you can :)
