8.8 Earthquake in Chile-tsumani for New Zealand?

  1. It's the next day now and there are still surges coming in but not big enough to worry about or be noticeable to most people. Some areas yesterday had as many a 6 'tides changes' in two hours and saw the water recede before coming in higher. No big waves or roaring walls of water. One bay did have very strong tidal race but they had experienced that in recent months during another tsunami warning and were ready for the same thing.
