  1. Our kitten (who has the luxating patellas I wrote about a few days ago) has been ordered by the vet to be in confinment for 2 weeks now, we are taking him back to the vet tomorrow evening, however this morning I went to check on him and he had cut the top of his nose, its all dried blood now but its so scary.

I feel so bad for our little guy, he just wants out of the cage so badly!

What do I do to treat it, or do I just let it heal on its own?

    Thank you!

  2. If it's not actively bleeding, you should just leave it alone.

Why does the vet want him to be confined?

  3. He has luxating patellas and were waiting to see if they get a little better or if he needs surgury to fix them.

(I have another Post in Purrs calle Luxating Patellas)

  4. I knew about the patellas; I just didn't understand why he was being confined. I guess when our Blue Suede was diagnosed with hers, they already knew she wasn't going to get better. I hope your baby does improve, good knees makes jumping around like a maniac so much easier.

  5. I guess this is a stupid question but can't his knees be wrapped or braced for extra stability? I don't imagine he would love that but he probably would choose it over confinement!
