Hi all! I have wondered into the cafe looking for a bite to eat so I can take some more meds. I was up and down most of the night with this awful headache. This one is really bad, haven't had one like this since right after surgery. My toes are all tingly and I am dropping everything. YES, the surgeon does know. We have a fully loaded buffet, today's specials are make your own omelets and hash browns smothered in cheese (freshly made by the Maine Coons!). Enjoy your day, enjoy the cafe, will check back when/if I can. I am feeling crosseyed now just sitting here.

Oh AZ, I feel your pain! Literally! This one is a doozy, not sure where it came from but they told me yesterday at work I look greyish in color and flushed at the same time. I wish it would break, especially now that the weather is warming up! We actually got above 32F for the first time since November and it is gonna be 40 by the weekend. Now we are talking shorts and tshirt weather if that happens! Whoo wee!

Make sure that you break out the SPF30 lotion, wouldn't want you sunburned too :) Oh yeah have been told I am all different colors lately by too many ppl, and then when I can't walk straight they wonder what's up, sigh. Told 'em my balance sucks Monkey Toes (thanks CM)!

It got to 34F the other day, it was almost "hot" here, I didn't even wear a coat and had on short sleeves. It felt soooooo good, and the sun was hitting my skin. More like SPF 80 for me, fair weather Eastern European that I am and then I live in the frozen tundra north! GD, so good to see you! How are you and the boys?

Good morning MC, GD, AZ! I'm sorry about the headaches, littermates :-( I had a generous piece of double chocolate cake last night and had a difficult time getting to sleep! I'll be sleepy tonight, I bet.
Mm, the coffee is perfect this morning! My compliments to the kitteh baristas! And I'd love some smothered and covered hash browns this morning...nom nom nom...

Morning all! still cold here, but FINALLY looks like next week may be warmer....I was woken up at 5am this morning to "yakking" sounds coming from the foot of my bed! (ick!)..... Abby thought she would hang her head off the end of the bed and yak her midnight snack onto the floor.....

Morning folks. MC and Deb, so sorry about the headaches, they are just the evilest things. Sending you both hugs.
I'm running around this morning tidying up because Mr. K is coming home this afternoon, can't let him see that I let the place go to rack and ruin while he's gone :) Then it's into the shower and off to work, so I'll be back later.
I did make a reservation for the pool on Saturday, time to really get serious. No more "I'll do that when..."

Thanks, MC, I'm having no luck recovering from the tournament so far. Having to open the gym at 5:45 twice this week didn't help and now I have friends who want to see me since I've been MIA for two weeks. Had lunch with one Tuesday, yesterday I went to watch my team play and tomorrow I'm having lunch with another friend and a house warming party at a co-worker's at night. Working Saturday and then on Sunday my co-coordinator and I are meeting with an old driver of ours to help him out. We set him up (on his request) on a dating site for seniors (he'll be 80 this year), but he's having trouble figuring out the library computer so we're meeting him on Sunday to help him out and then we're going out for lunch.
I could really use a day or two of doing nothing, but it doesn't sound like it's likely to happen. -
GD you have a seior 80 years young??? Send him up here and the gals will fall over each other cooking for him, dancing, playing shuffleboard, horseshoes and bingo! Woo woo! What a find!

We have a bunch of drivers around that age - our oldest (I think he is, anyway) is 83.
This guy came in one day and saw us on the computer and asked if we could help set him up on a certain dating site. He'd tried himself, but couldn't figure it out. So we took his picture and set up a profile for him. Now ifhe could only figure out how to work the computer, we'd be in business :) -
LOL @ GD.. I hope he finds someone.

Good Morning Everyone!!! Hope those headaches subside for you Deb and MC!! I can't even imagine, I would be constantly crabby :) Kilroy, my hubs got home last night, Mo saw his car drive in and he said, who the heck is THAT coming? You are one busy woman, GD!!!! Hope your senior finds a friend :) Siobhan, how lucky you are to still have your Dad :) On the ant thing, I have been finding live Asian Lady Beetles crawling around all winter! Our house must be loaded with them, we didn't have the house sprayed last fall. Lainey, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.....waves a big hello to AV, SOM and LK!!
-
Hello, Joan, LK, Katthays, and anyone I missed.
Katthays, I try really hard not to be crabby but sometimes its impossible so I keep my mouth/thoughts to myself because I can be mean without thinking.

Awww, Deb....I, too, can say things that sound nasty sometimes, they just pour out of my mouth, then later I think, Why the blazes did I say that?!! I do have to keep my mouth shut at times when I really want to say what I think :0 Glad you're feeling better today, Joan!
-
Morning Littermates! I'm continually amazed with you Amy...you feel awful and yet open the cafe for us all in the morning. Sorry for the bad night hon and am praying your day improves. I worry so. Deb...a two week headache would honestly have me throwing my puter out the window..yet you are here, caring about others. You Rock too girl! I don't think I've ever heard you say anything mean that wasn't absolutely warranted.

Hope everyone feels better soon, who is under the weather or has a headache.
Got up early with the North American Abber Monkey and been going ever since. Had to get a shower, bathe Abbers, get dinner in the crock pot, doing laundry..got 2 loads done so far, do breakfast, about to start lunch, get the girls dressed, give Abbie her breathing treatment and will be time for another soon. then hopefully it will be nap time soon for them.
The sun is out and it's 34 degrees so it's actually nice out. It's supposed to get in the 40's over the weekend, which is nice. My great Niece Juliana is 6 months old now and getting christened on Sunday, which we are going to, then on Monday, we all(my nephew, his wife, my nieces and their kids) might take the kids to the zoo :) Which will be so nice..decent day and we can get some fresh air and exercise.
Off to change a smelly diaper and go make lunch for the kiddos. Hugs to all and I hope to see you later!Posted 1 year ago by cricketsmama #

Good morning Peeps! The birds were quite noisy this morning so I think winter may be on the way out; imagine they were pretty suprised to get here and find so much snow. Usually we get a warm windy spell in Feb, called a "chinook", and our snow leaves, so March starts out pretty bare grounded. Not this year! It may even get up to 40 today! Whoo hoo! Have a good day everyone!

Hi all, just got up cause a bird crashed into the window and the girls went wild. Thought it was lunch! FF called and said he is coming over to be with me. Oh joy, not that I don't want to see him, I just have better things today to do like sleep and keep my head quiet. Oh well, anytime with him is good time I guess.
