Hi MC! Beautiful setup in the cafe today! I could go for a cheesy omlet with some fresh fruit. It's beautiful today - a bit chilly in the house, but not rushing to get the fire started since it's supposed to warm up. It might hit 50!
Have some typical Saturday morning household stuff to do, then we're headed down the mountain to MIL's place, it's her b-day. She wants sicillian pizza and an ice cream cake so we'll treat for that. I got a pretty yellow rose plant, and a bottle of sparkling rose wine.

Good morning, MC! It's an overcast day here but I'm hoping that it will warm up a bit. I so need to get out in the front yard and trim back frozen stacks, give the bushes a haircut, dig up weeds..... it is just a mess out there. But first, Kohl's is having a big sale (like just about everyday...."Our Biggest Sale of the Year!!!") and I might just drop in to see if anything catches my eye.
I think that I would really enjoy a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon!

.... Mr. AV gave me the nicest surprize yesterday! when I got home from w**k, he had cleaned the house, and mopped then waxed the entire 3000+ SF of hardwood floors!.......that means I get to be lazy this morning!!!! truth be told, he couldn't have bought me a better gift!.......

Hi WWM & AV! How nice of Mr. AV. I mentioned to hubby about bringing Leela, but just kidding. Maybe last year this time when we were miserable in our own home and she weighed half of what she weighs now. MIL will have to come up here to see her.
Kohls has some really great sales! I have a few gift cards but am more apt to go on my lunch break or after work since it's down the valley.
I am sooo aching for this snow to melt so I can assess the yard, but it will be a while. There is still about 2 feet on the ground. I mentioned to hubby that Shaddo and Jiggs would have loved the trails he shoveled around the yard: 1 to the wood pile, 1 to the back wood pile and 1 to the shed. It's hard for me to imagine that snow, Joan. It was 70 here yesterday. That's why I have to get the yard done because if the nights stay warmer as they have been, the new growth will be there and it will be a bit late for me to whack stuff off.
Well, it's only me for breakfast but I think that I'm going to go and make myself some huevos rancheros. Just kind of sounds good this morning.

Maddie went over Grandma's today, Wayne is going to study till 1pm then I am going to a kids clothes resale and get clothes for 2.00 a bag!! I know it will be picked over, but you never know what I can find.
I am making slow cooker Root Beer BBQ Beef sammies for dinner.

Mmmmm, huevos rancheros sounds yummy, good for you, WWM. Morning, Joan and Dee, and AV if you're still here.
I made it to the pool today and tried out my new nose clips; they really do help. I also got different goggles, the ones I had kept fogging up. Amazingly, I was able to exchange them, I really wasn't expecting to be able to do that. So now I have goggles that don't fog, which makes a huge difference.
Georgie is being a good boy and he's almost back in my good graces :)

is anyone going to watch the Oscars tomorrow???!!!??? marathon show that it is, I usually flip between it and other shows that I've pre-recorded...... I heard Sandra Bullock will probably win best actress (I do like her).... and Avatar and some other movie are the best bets for best pic.... I've seen Avatar, but not the other one they were mentioning....

Hi all! I got "lost" for a bit, my internet went down right after setting up the cafe. I think I am back now. In the mean time I got some laundry in, ran to the grocery store and did litter box duty! Sounds like everyone has a busy but good day ahead. Oh yeah, its above 32, so I washed my car too! Can't believe what stuff I had all over it, I almost forgot what color my car was!

Hi everyone! I'm babysitting now but he is napping. Kilroy is coming over this afternoon to drop off her keys for cat sitting George and she'll get to meet Feeny and Taco! Woohoo! Then I'm meeting a friend later on at her apartment who I haven't seen since highschool to catch up on things. Fun day :)
