I know I have not posted anything in a while but there hasn't been any news...well now there is and it seems all good. First, the radiation did work. The tumor is smaller (she didn't say by how much) but it was expected to be the same or bigger if the treatments didn't work. With fast growing cancer "smaller" is always good news. Second, she is going to do chemo. They told her it has a 70% success rate. It is two newer meds that have not been on the market. ... See MoreIt will be once a week with three weeks on and one week off...this will go for three months. She had the choice to stop at any time. She is already working with her hair dresser to get a wig...I think she is excited to get one.

That's such good news, Alicia. And it's a really good move to go ahead and get a wig. It's pretty devastating for women to lose their hair but if they have thought it out and are prepared, it's much less of an emotional blow.

Good for your mom, Alicia. Please tell her after my daughter was finished with chemo, her hair came in curly .... just for a while though, but she did experience cute curly hair for a while! Sending white light for healing energy to your mum. {{Alicia}}

Thank you all for your support...I am very hopeful and look forward to hearing more of her progress. They already have the anti-nausea drugs on order for her as well as a few more things. She is stronger than most give her credit for and she again reminded me that she made it this long she is not giving up yet.
