Hello my friends. It's a lovely evening. How is everyone?
We are going to my great-nieces Christening tomorrow, so we all get to dress up and look nice. It will be fun to see everyone. Her dad is my nephew and they live in Florida so it will be so nice to see them. They have an older daughter, Leila, and she's Maddie's age, so the cousins love to play together. for tonight's dinner i would like some homemade mac and cheese and steamed, buttered aparagus served to me in front of the TDK fireplace. i will be on the sofa. a basket of kittens would be great, as well as a warm blanket. i have a new book on Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII. In it, it shows justs how manipulative and conniving she was in convincing the king to marry her. she definently wasn't the woman he thought she was.

Had a rough day. Nothing went right, Ruggles hocked up everything he's eaten for the past 6 years, Rotley in a bad mood, I still have not received a form that I need to file my taxes (and I've called the jerks 3 times already) and I discovered a leak in my dining room ceiling.

Many prayers for you Emma! You didn't have a very good day, did you? Oh my goodness, I know what you mean about the taxes thing. I am waiting and waiting and waiting for a form myself. May have to file an extension at this rate! Hope tomorrow is a fresh start for you!

Had a good Sunday, Mr MS and I walked the aisle of a large hardware store and found things that will help us create the 'light curtain' Meegz wants. We went out this afternoon and played darts for several hours, I'll pay for it tomorrow with a sore arm, but we had lots of fun and laughter.
Shadz came inside earlier and snuggled up next to me and insisted I admire her and stop watching the TV. I managed to do both. This is the third or fourth night she has come in, I think something has changed out there, a new stronger cat has arrived.Posted 1 year ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Love hardware stores, you never know what you might find that catches your eye! I need to go and buy some colorful plants, I feel like color lately. Take an aspirin or the equivalent before you go to bed or use the arnica and maybe it won't hurt as much tomorrow.

It is getting slightly nippy just before the sun rises, but the rest of the nights are still warm. One sheet over us is plenty still and it doesn't help when a hot furry cat wants to share. I very carefully carry her into Airy's room but she always beats me back to bed. Sigh, I live in hope that she will stay there one night. Have a feeling she won't sleep there until Airy is back in the bad.That's a good idea about the arnica, thanks I'll try it.

I know the feeling of the hot furry cats wanting to share the bed, had all 5 of them on mine this evening....for little beings they sure put out the heat, lol. She likes your bed it is just comfy enough for her, like mine is for this crew.

Jobs all done. We had an airshow here a few weeks ago and it was very successful and even attracted people from overseas. I believe they are going to make it a regular event, every two or so years.

Love watching air shows, was seeing them practice just a bit this morning. Had to laugh because it looked like the little P-51 was chasing the jet and then vice versa. Good pictures and I love the volcano views, you had sent me a postcard with that on it a bit ago.

Our airport is on the edge of the city so we get all types of planes flying overhead all the time. Love watching the bi-planes but the Harvard has to be my favourite. It's motor has a wonderful deep throaty sound. There is also a Hawker Hunter jet but it doesn't fly very often as I believe it costs an arm and a leg just to get it airborne now. Sad, but it's wonderful to watch when it is flying.
Time for me to head off to bed, HRH seems to be settled downstairs so maybe I'll have an undisturbed night.
