  1. If your wondering what the meneki neko is, please look at my other post of the legend of the meneki neko cat. here are all the meniko neko cat statues:

red colored = you have good health
pink colored = love will happen to you
    Gold colored = very wealthy
Black colored = keeps away any evil
paw is raised high = having luck at a good distance
raising left paw = you will have more customers at work
raising right paw = you will have good luck
Calico fur = you will have very good luck

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! :)

  3. I have a white one with raised right paw and a red colored one in my living room facing the front door. I didn't realize that there were so many of them.

  5. I have one black and one white. So what does white mean?

  6. It does mean something, but there is no "white". Does it have its paw raised left or right? Is its hand raised highly? If so, look it up on the list and you'll know what it means.

  7. What I mean is that there is a white one, but it means something by the paws. Not by the color.

  12. To ghostofcolemanyoung, (sorry if mispelled!)

I know this by heart, but I first saw this on a childrens book called "Why do cats have whiskers?" and you can check it out at your local library.
