Hey Family! I made such a bonehead mistake! I am still shuddering. I went to Austin Saturday morning to see Abbey, Jason and Charles. I don't like leaving the kits because I don't ever miss Wilbur's meds but I can occasionally skip 1-3. Soooo, I went to Austin to keep Charles while Abbey and Jason went out for their anniversary Sat nite. Stayed for Sunday so we could watch the Oscars. I was planning to come home late this afternoon but I was missing the kitties and was worried about Wilbur. I arrived home about 9 this morning. I was unlocking the door and noticed that Wilbur laying down infront of the the laundry room door (it is a really small room). I knew before I opened it that T-Do was in there! I opened the door and out he came! No water, no food, no litter box! His nose is scraped raw, but other wise I think he is ok. I can find no evidence of poop or urine in the room. Perhaps he did not go because he had no water?? I feel terrible. He is sticking to me like glue. I have never made a mistake like this before. I feel so bad, my poor kitty! He has been eating and drinking but has not made a trip to the litter box yet. He seems to have forgiven me but I just feel awful. The visit was so nice and I had such a good time. Charles is so sweet and they are such good new parents. Well, that is my weekend story. Yikes!

Awww, poor T-Do!
It seems like he's alright, though, and has forgiven you. Keep an eye on the litterbox, though, to make sure he goes. I got a bladder infection once from "holding it" too long - if T-Do did the same because his litter box wasn't in the room, he may develop one, too, and that could be why you haven't seen him use the litter box yet. So please keep an eye out for that - and give him lots of treats and loving!I'm glad you had such a nice weekend and that baby Charles is thriving :)

Poor T-Do! Sometimes it is so hard to find them. Willow loves to go in closets and I don't know how many times we have shut her up in one not knowing that she was in there. My bet is that T-Do is going to try and make you feel extremely guilty which of course will mean extra snuggles and treats!

Aww Poor T-Do!! They are all hard to find sometimes. When I first moved I couldn't find Maverick anywhere and thought he'd gone through the 'portal' (we say he does that because he disappears and reappears all the time). The next day I was coming through the door and heard this pitiful meow. He was locked in the closet in the guest room all that time. That room door stays closed all the time because I don't want my guests to have to deal with more cat hair than is necessary - lol.
I know you feel badly - I would too, but just give T-Do lots of love and cuddles and he should be just fine.
I also agree with WWM....what little con artists they are!!

He is eating and has been to the water fountain 2 times but no action at the litter box yet. He does not appear to be distressed at all just very clingy. I sure that he went somewhere in the laundry room, I just can't find it. I have lots of stuff piled next to the washer and I would guess that is where he would go. I'm going to keep an eye on him for the rest of the evening. Wilbur is due for a check up at the vet school so when I call tomorrow I will try to get both of them in for a visit.

Oh T-DO! I am sorry meowmy locked you in. I have locked the girls in the closet more times than I would like to admit. Its amazing how guilty they can make you feel. I would keep a keen eye on him to make sure he uses the box.

I understand just how bad you feel, but it was an accident. Shadz was shut in a cupboard as a kitty and we all felt so awful about it but accidents do happen. T-Do will have forgotten about it by now, just shower him with love and kisses. Cats are like kids, you need eyes in the back of your head to keep track of them sometimes.
