  1. CM, that is great, you can never start them too early :)) What may seem like 'fun' now, could change into, 'Oh Mom, do I have to??!".....or worse :)))

  2. Morning everyone, made it home this morning to find that my kitchen/dining area had been covered with cat food. Have no clue how that could have happened, must have been some unknown entity who came in to make a mess cuz the 'crew' wouldn't think of it!!! Went on my walk and came home to clean up their mess or decorating attempts, who knows. Now its time to try and catch a couple of zzzz's since I know I will be up sooner rather than later as always. Hope that a good day is to be had by all :)

  3. LOL Deb....I bet your catfood decor looked smashing :)))

  4. But there was pizza involved, WWM!!! I've been know to go a little crazy over pizza myself :)

  5. Stopping in for a warmer on my cold coffee. I need to wake up for it is only 2ish and 3 more hours to go! Kits are snoozing so will help myself! Wow, CM you are lucky, your own cleaning assistant! My kits are supposed to do that at home but usually run away as soon as the vacuum start up! Sssh, won't vacuum the TDK cafe either so not to wake the kits...later.

  6. Vacuuming?

    ;o)

I jest - sort of - Chris does most of that at the moment; as ours is a on yer hands & knees job it makes my neck worse, so I get out of it...for now!

Posted 2 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  7. How is your neck these days, MCW? Any better?

Posted 2 years ago by Kilroy #

  8. I'll be so upset if it gets cold again. I'm loving this weather.

Posted 2 years ago by gini #

  9. Hi Kilroy - no, sorry to say, no better - in fact since the last round of botox injections in neck/shoulders, considerably worse! And last week's manic working didn't help much (this week will be marginally better!)

  10. MCW..I wish I could get out of it. Wayne used to do it but somehow, I have become the maid..lol
Gini, I hear you..I want it to stay like this. It's 54 and partly sunny! It's awesome out. I am soooo ready for spring. There had better be no more snow!

Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

  11. ((MCW))) Sorry you are not getting any relief. I wish there was something I could do to make you feel better.

  12. {{{{{{MCW}}}}}}}

GD, after the races we had pizza! It really was fun.

Mr. WWM does the vacuuming here because it really does hurt my back. Could you try that one on Wayne, CM?

Posted 2 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  13. I'm sorry you're still hurting, MCW.

On a happier subject, how's your furry crew? I really want to come meet them one of these days.

Posted 2 years ago by Kilroy #

  14. Sorry Kilroy, got distracted watching TV! Mogs all fine, Eric has just been happily puncturing my knees! You must come and meet them, remember I'll pick you up from any UK airport (within reason!!)

  15. Afternoon all. Been a busy day. I got totally sabotaged at lunch. I think they gave me a regular coke instead of diet. My blood sugar has spiked to 191 and I have a horrible headache! I guess I am going to have to switch to drinking only unsweet tea and water when I am out because if the mess up and give me sweet tea I would know it! All soda's taste pretty much the same to me.

Going out to dinner with a friend and will take my meds as soon as I have some food in front of me.

I hope AV posts pictures of the pig in the wedding. It reminds me of the children's book "If You Give a Pig a Party."

I am going to do the stairs in our tower to see if it gets my blood sugar down some.

  16. No sorry necessary, relaxing in front of the box is a good thing. I may take you up on that offer sometime soon; Mr. K and I are discussing blowing various bits of "extra" cash that have come our way on a nice trip somewhere. If it materializes, I'll alert you pronto.

Posted 2 years ago by Kilroy #

  17. Take it easy Kykat, I don't know much about high blood sugar, but too much unexpected exercise can't be a good thing!

Posted 2 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  18. Unexpected exercise? Oh well, I know what I meant!!

Posted 2 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  19. Kilroy - :o)

Posted 2 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  20. Well, I'm not sure what "unexpected exercise" is, but I'll second the "take it easy, KYKat" part :) Please be careful, KYK.

  21. Morning all, sitting here with dilated eyes after my annual check so forgive any typos as the screen is a bit blurry still. It's another beautiful sunny day in paradise and I can't go out into it because of my eyes.
I really hope we get to see a picture of the pig ring bearer, my nephew had his farm dog as ring bearer last year.
Kykat, it's so annoying when you specifically ask for diet or zero and they give you something else. I haven't had it happen yet but I will double check whenever the drink comes from the pump and not a bottle or can.

  22. I feel a little better for having walked. I did six stories worth of stairs and walked around the block. I did my civic duty while I was out too. Someone had put up annoying advertising handbills up around town and we are having a rainy windy day today and they were all coming down off the light poles. I picked them all up...and removed the ones that were still hanging too (They were all wet and curled up)...and put them in the trash. The block looks so much better now.

I'll test in another 30 mins to see if my walk helped any.

  23. Heading for bed now, G'night TDK Land!

Posted 2 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  24. G'night MCW. Sweet Dreamy....stay "toasty!"

    Posted 2 years ago by KYKAT 12 23 #

  25. Good job, KYK, on the walking & the cleaning up.

    Good night, MCW! Sleep well.

Posted 2 years ago by Kilroy #

  26. KyK, please take care of yourself! Good Morning to MS and Good Night to MCW!

Posted 2 years ago by katthays #

  27. Nice job Kykat, two jobs in one there. Your stair climbing and walk will help lower your sugar. Just don't overdo it.
Hi Katthays. I'm just heading off for lunch and to rest as I now have a headsche from looking at the screen.

  28. I got an english paper and a german quiz back today. I got an A- on my paper and an A (96) on my quiz. The sky is so blue tonight, even at nighttime. I went to the park today for a bit and a few little flowers are starting to bloom which is nice to see. Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer.

Posted 2 years ago by gini #

  29. MS I hope your head feels better soon.

    Night, MCW!

Awesome job Kykat, congrats :) That's really nice of you to help out the community too

Posted 2 years ago by gini #

  30. Hi all! I seem to have a crick in my neck today, can't figure out where it came from. Having some pizza for dinner and it is hitting the spot! MCW, can I come to the UK too? PLEASE!
