Bobby is great! It's been ovet 3 months since I took him off the phenobarbitol for the seizures and so far he's doing great with no signs of seizures. He's also lost 1.5-2 lbs since he stopped the meds which made him eat more than usual, so he looks great.
It seems the boys are even closer than they used to be after I "abandoned" them for the 12 days during the tournament (Auntie Ellen came to see them every day) - they even occasionally sleep together these days! And I love how the cold weather makes them seek out my lap :)
I'm pretty good. Haven't played tennis in 6 weeks because of a tear in my hip, but am really liking the swimming I started this week. I go there with a friend so it's a social thing, like tennis was, which is nice.Thanks for asking - how are you? And those handsome boys of yours?

GD I'm glad that bobby is doing so well off of the phenobarbitol! That is great news. That is awesome that he's lost some of the weight too. That is sweet that the boys sleep together :) Feeny and Taco have been sleeping together less lately - I think it's the warm weather. I'm glad you are doing well too. I hope your hip feels better soon. I'm glad that you are at least getting to swim though and getting to do it with a friend. I haven't been in a pool in probably ten years. I miss it. I'm doing well, thanks! A little exhausted - very busy week - but the warm weather is by far making up for it and making my mood much happier. Even if I don't have much time to be outside in it, it's nice to walk to school and back and to open up the window in the apartment to get some fresh air. The boys are fantastic :) Thank you for asking

*Gives Betty more scritches* "Sorry girl, I know I'm a bit of a pain and quite the picky eater, but I don't like pepperoni. Sausage is fine, though, and maybe some sundried tomatoes and a bit of spinach?"

I'm sad winter is almost over - I love winter in Florida - even when it gets to 33 degrees and I have no heat!
Before starting swimming again yesterday, I hadn't swum "for real" in almost 20 years. I used to swim competitively in my teens but had to give it up when I got too busy with school. I don't consider goofing around in a backyard pool swimming - it has to be real laps to me, or it doesn't count.*Bobby and Mi are angry with Mama for pestering poor Betty - they want Mama to just pick the pepperoni off the pizza and let them visit with Betty for a while*

I like winter for about 3 weeks and then I'm over it. Surprisingly, as much as most people hate snow in the winter, it's actually about the only thing I love in it. I feel like if it's going to be below freezing and miserable out it might as well snow and be pretty. I'm so excited for warm weather again.
I actually didn't even learn to swim until I was about 7 years old. Then I was at the pool almost every day in the summer from age 7 to about 12. Then my mom said we weren't going to join the public pool the next year (I forget why) and I haven't swam since (except for in the ocean but I like pools better; they are much cleaner and more refreshing [although I still love the ocean]). -
Hello GD!! Glad to read you are swimming! Fun!! I haven't gone swimming in years. We used to live by a small lake and my daughter and I would go in it just about every day for a couple hours, in summer(back when I didn't work). It was so pretty there with all types of birds, fish and frogs. :)

Betty pops back thru the worm hole, whispers to Mi to come over and "check" the pizza. He says its a go, sausage and spinach and sun dried tomatoes. Phew, she comes out, bats her whiskers at GD and hands her the pizza. She scampers over and visits with the boys. She is so happy to see them, its been a while since the kits all had a skate party. Boy, Wilma is gonna be jealous, though she did get to meet Taco and Feeny!
