   OK. This has happened not once, not twice, not five times, but too many to recall. Either a kitten picture will show up in the list of recent past photos but I will never have seen it before or, as happened today, the picture I saw when I went to the page this a.m. (7 a.m. CST) was different than what it was at 9:00 p.m. last night. And now it has changed again, presumably at the normal time it is supposed to change!

   Can anyone offer an explanation for this phenomenon that does not include a recommendation to me to seek out psychiatric help? (I regularly empty my cache).

   wow... can't help you either. Maybe someone has your password and username and logs on to put in pictures. Try changing your password and see if that helps.

   Is it just recently? I know that recently we went a few days with no new kitten then we got several days worth in one day. And yesterday's did not appear on schedule but instead was 12 hours late.

   No, that is the odd thing. This has been happening even before I joined, I believe. I do think it might be related to the difference in time zone and the fact that KM doesn't *always* make his deadline. But still, that doesn't explain why none of you have noticed it!

   When I went to bed last night, Lucy was still featured, when I checked first thing this a.m. Jan had appeared; at the normal time for changes, Jack appeared. Even though I check in every day, I had never seen Milo (the Persian kitten.

   There has to be an explanation. There has to be (looks around wildly for men with nets).

   Just file it under "stuff happens" Lily and don't let it make you crazy. I absolutely love you Avatar by the way! I am a sucker for meezers, semi-meezers, neezers and any other pointed breed!

   That happened to me, too, Lily. I think sometime KM skips a day (or most of one) and posts a picture late, and then posts the next one when it was supposed to be posted, so sometime you can get a couple in a couple of hours.

    I think it's supposed to be automated so that the new pic (picked beforehand by KM) goes on at exactly the same time every day, but I think sometimes there's a glitch in the system that KM hasn't picked up on yet, whereby often we get two kitties in one day, none the next, two the next day and so on.

    Now if we could only figure out why the 11pm (New Zealand time) glitch happens almost every night, when the website throws us off and won't let us back on to post... sometimes for a minute or two, sometimes much longer...

    JCAT maybe there is some sort of update or backup that takes place daily and where ever the server is 11pm New Zealand time is the scheduled time. I know the system I work on we do that but for most of our users it occurs at 1 am, and we hope they are not working then!

    This has happened to me also, Lily. Sometimes I go and sign out and back in, or close my pc and quick reboot and the new kitten appears. Try clicking your F5 key too. Or as WWM says, "Welcome to the Twilight Zone" of TDK. oooo-oooo-oooo-oooo....
