   I have a picture of Leela but I can only scan it to a pdf file and it won't let me change it.

   open the pdf file
   click <CTRL>+A
   Click <ctrl>+C
   open Paint
   Click <CTRL>+V
   Select File --> Save As
   Choose Type JPEG and name your photo

   Try copying and pasting the document into Word then recopy and paste in Paint.
