92-year-old woman murders her 98-year-old husband
(6 posts)-
There's really not enough info in that article to understand what happened. Were either of them suffering from dementia?, Was he suffering from a painful and terminal disease?, Was she just a cranky old lady?
It would be interesting to read what the rest of the story is. As it is, it sounds just plain awful, but there could be something missing from the article.

I'm guessing he stepped on her nerves one last time...

Maybe she is a gold digger and just got tired of waiting for him to die so she could spend her inheritance. (just being silly). I agree CBM not enough information. There was a night a month or so before he died that my Dad was seeing something horrible and he was looking for his gun (that Mom had already hid) so he was beating on the wall with his cane. He broke a couple of things fortunately not Mom's head.

She was apparently suffering from severe dementia and was taken to a psychiatric facility. So sad.

My Dad had some dementia but still knew my Mother. It is sad the poor woman probably thought he was an intruder.
