  12. I can't forget to mention New Zealand's favourite cartoon cat. Back in the days when TV stations actually closed for the night we had the Goodnight Kiwi & Cat.

  14. Yay, goodnight Kiwi, we used to beg to be allowed to stay up late enough to see him!

    The music used is a fairly anodyne version of a Maori lullaby, Hine e hine, written by Princess Te Rangi Pai in 1905. It is a lovely song, if you hear a proper version.
