Evening and Morning my friends.:)
Good sleep last night. Abbie slept all night. Whee..it's the little things.
Maddie however...OMG. that little minx, didn't go to bed till 9 which is late, then kept talking in her room to her babies till 10:45..she even got up once cos she said she had to pee, but then didn't go. She better sleep in a bit today. Although, today is the day we need to be up since I have errands to run. It's payday...so it's shopping day! Not to mention I have to get all their Easter stuff too.
I do not know how to clean an oven either so we are all in the same boat :)
Deb, I want to see the Grand Canyon one day so bad. I hope we can take the girls one day.

Goodmorning CM. Don't you just hate it when the 'babies' keep your kids awake with their chattering! ! I can remember doing what Maddie did.

Awww, Miss Maddie, you are a minx. Tee hee, CM, when I was a kid, I had insomnia and I used to SING to myself until midnight when my poor parents would bang on the door and tell me it was time to go to sleep now... And I never once took a nap during the day, Making up for it now though...

Mine is gas. Wayne says it's self cleaning but I don't think so. I cleaned it once with the stuff you buy in a can, but it so needs it again. Just need to find the time.

I did think about going into her room and telling her it's time to be quiet, but I didn't have the heart..she would have been upset, so I let her chatter.
At least they are sleeping in longer since it's dark in the mornings with the time change. Abbie did wake up 15 min ago but I put her back to sleep. I know I woke her when I blew my nose. :)Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

Oh I just have to tell you. Today Snuggy brought her first "gift" to my Mum. it was a wee skink(lizard). I got a phone call from Mum asking how to get a skink out from under the fridge. I just burst out laughing. The first she knew was a very loud meowing and then Snuggy raced in the door and dropped the skink at Mum's feet. Of course it just took off like a shot and ran under the fridge. I said put a shoebox on edge in front of the fridge and rustle under the fridge with something. Sure enough out popped the skink and right into the box. She released it back outside when Snuggy wasn't looking. I thought it was so sweet that Snuggy brought Mum a 'gift'.

Awww, that's lovely, MS. Snuggles knows she's home with her new mama and wanted to show her she loved her. Also, possibly, liven up the dinner menu ;-)
And I'm so glad the skink was unharmed and could go back in the garden. I like skinks and geckos very much.
Has Snuggles chased all the other cats out of the garden yet?

Jane, I am over that cold thank goodness. However, with my allergies, I always sneeze and blow my nose..it's a daily thing for me.

Snuggy has let the other cats know just who is the boss of the property. She doesn't chase them really but she does growl at them and intimidate them by staring at them until they turn tail and slink off. Why waste energy when you can stare.
She made friends with the future SIL in the weekend. It was the first time he and Meegz had met her, A-man sat down, patted his lap and Snuggy hopped up and curled up and went to sleep in his lap just like that. He has a way with cats, a real charmer.Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Morning everyone!.... awwwww Snuggles!.....he's really settled in nice with Mum......
....my south Floridian Abber Monkey decided to bring me a "gift" at 4:30 this morning - she decided it was time to play with her favorite crinkley ball & string right on top of me in the middle of the bed....... it was a 30 minute fight! I kept throwing it down, and she'd run get it and pounce back up....finally Mr. Av yelled - hide the stupid thing!......couldn't really get back to sleep well....

I'm waiting for Shadz to come in for the night but I'm not holding my breath. I would have liked company as Mr MS is working the night shift out of town for a few nights.
