  1. This miserable sociopathic coward will have the face the real Owner of this puppy. When he does, he will pray that the Wolf will find him first.

What he did to that poor little animal was not discipline.

    It was murder.

  2. OH PLEASE! How many friends/relatives of mass murderers say the same thing? And, of course, most defense lawyers will say anything; all they care about is getting the monster off. Discipline means teaching, not assault.

  3. Dee, I wouldn't worry about the wolf in this case. There is a special place in Hell resevered for monsters like this b*&%$d!!!

  4. The fluffy language observances set forth by the KM will not allow me to post what I really feel. Poor little doggy!

  5. And this was the second little dog he killed. He's a great big monster.

  6. What goes around comes around...hopefully this viscious assailant realizes the consequences of this assult in the near future or afterlife.

  7. I wish there was a "list" of people who should not be allowed to have animals. This *&%#* needs his you-know-whats cut off and shoved in his mouth until he chokes to death!

  8. An 11 pound puppy. Poor boy never had a chance. Same with the other little pup he killed.

  9. The One with the Wolf will have a few things to say on this matter--I trust that he will be held accountable. Hopefully here on Earth as well as later.

  10. I couldn't read the article - just couldn't. But from the headline I hope that this person truly does meet his justice at the paws of The Wolf.

  11. Junior twitches in his sleep, curled next to the Wolf. The Wolf's great head lowers, watching him carefully, and the mama cat circles around to settle down next to the young dog, both of them leaning against the Wolf.

"He's not having a bad dream, is he?" asks the cat in a worried whisper.

"No," smiles the Wolf. "Look at his feet."

The little dog's paws dab at the air, racing through his own sweet night.

The Wolf smiles down at the mama cat. "That little fellow has had a busy day in the Meadow. Our little friend is still traveling in his dreams."

This morning Junior and Hillies played with Peaches, and the Basils showed him the most fragrant mint beds. The three dogs rolled in the soft grass, chased two insolent squirrels, and barked greetings to Buster and Redford. Shaddo and Jiggs taught the little dog how to approach the cats in friendship, how to deal with the proud and preening Siamese, and Junior learned all the joys of the rolling green Meadow.

    "So he doesn't remember..."

    "No." The shaggy head shakes.

    "But you remember..."

"Everything," answers the Wolf. Once again, the mama cat sees the dark gold flicker in the back of the huge creature's eyes, and she shivers slightly. There is an anger in the Wolf, hard and bright, and the evil memories of others are held with his own remembrances.

Junior's eyes flutter open. He is suddenly awake, and looking up into the face of the Wolf, he smiles, sighs, and turns toward the mama cat. His small black nose tucks under her chin, and she kisses him as he falls back into the softest, gentlest sleep he has ever known.

The silver moon floats overhead, and in the shadow of the great Wolf, the mama cat's eyes grow heavy. She rests against her friend, her new son breathing lightly in her embrace.

The air above the trees at the edge of the Meadow is clean and the scent of pines drifts through the air.

The Wolf rises slowly so that Junior and his mama are not disturbed. He pads quietly to the other side of the knoll and gazes out over the Meadow, sleepless and vigilant.

    All are safe here.

*Emma stops typing and lifts her head. Borne on the wind outside her window, she hears a low growl, and the sound of a Wolf's heavy feet in the distance.*

  13. Emma, what can I say about your gift. Only that you leave me wanting more. Thank you for your tribute to this sad story.

  15. Concerning my book: I've hit the 35th page, the outline is done, the book itself has seven chapters, and 2011 is when the opus will be completed. Been doing more research on Gubbio, St. Francis, and the creature who Francis called "Brother Wolf."

And thank you, all of you, for your support! Everyone at this site has been such a blessing in my life.

  18. I have to second Paulajeanne's comment.
Your Wolf always brings tears to my eyes, not always sad tears but sometimes happy tears Emma.

  20. Emma, your work is wonderful. May I buy an autographed copy of your book when it's completed? I would like to know more about the Wolf.
