On my way home this guy went flying past me on the wrong side of the highway. I was heading east on the highway and he was on the west bound side heading east at over 80-mph. Thankfully he stayed in the left hand lane and all the west bound people stayed in the right hand lane but I was so scared I was going to see a horrid accident occur. I called 911 on my cell and being out in the middle of no-where they had to transfer me to DPS, and I told the guy what I was observing and that the SUV was speeding) I was going pretty fast just trying to stay where I could see his tial lights. Finally right before the next town he got pulled over. I am so glad they got him before the next town cause there is a trafic light on the highway there and he could have caused a horrible accident there as well as further down the road. I am just glad to be home with my furr butts and that everyone is safe. Be careful out there family the drunk/high/stupid people are around!

[{{hugs}}}, Al that must have been quite frightening to see. Thank goodness you were able to call 911 and the vehicle was stopped. Well done.

Thankfully you were able to get 911 activated quickly. I too think you probably save lives last night! Seems we have had a rash of things like this on the road from here to Lubbock. There was a roll over this week with a death. There have been a couple of kids on that road with no license that have driven off the road. Seems that spring is bringing out the worst drivers.
Cuddle with your furry friends and know I am thankful you are safe and sound!

Good going, TKN! I'm glad there was no accident, especially with YOU involved.
When you live in a metropolitan area like Detroit, you see that all the time on the X'ways. If it isn't just a crazy driver, it might be a police chase.
Once I was driving home in central Ohio and had stopped to make a left turn kinda out in the country, and a driver flew past me so fast I could hardly see what passed me, with the police right behind. It was just like TV.
Anyway, I'm glad you did the right thing.Posted 1 year ago by MaxandCali'sMom #

Wow Ale! That really would be terrifying...I'm so glad noone got hurt and that you made it home safe and sound to your furrbutts. You're a good citizen for calling 911 and trying to stop that freak on the road from causing a horrific accident. I know you don't really drink....but that one calls for a relaxing glass of wine and a snuggle kitty.

Thnk you everyone. The good thing about the highway I take is that its 4 lane with a huge median between the east and west bound sides. I was trying to keep up in case he had a head-on with someone else so that I could assist the other person, I am not sure I could have gone near the guy without smacking him upside the head hard.
But it sure did wake me up cause I was just doing my normal boring drive when he came flying up and then I realised he was on the wrong side of the highway and got out my phone.Posted 1 year ago by TheKnittingNinja #
