i admit that i did something tonight that i haven't done in a long time - worried at bedtime about the job/work/money/parents situation
going to sleep is easier said than done...
Saying to you "don't worry' is also easier said than done. There must be an area in between that will allow you to sleep Cheri, because you need a good nights sleep.

if i can't fall asleep after an hour, i get up and do something, like wash dishes, pick up stuff, knit, surf the internet, etc. until i am so tired that i can't keep my eyes open, then i try to sleep again...
tonight, i stayed up until 2am, lied in bed awake until 3am, got up, and now its 5:50 am. thank goodness i don't have anything scheduled for tomorrow...
Everyone says that's the best thing to do, Cheri, then you don't associate being in bed with being awake. I try to do it in summer but it's so cold in winter I don't want to get out of bed, even when I'm wide awake. (I get insomnia too.)
If it's any comfort, they say one night's missed sleep won't make much difference. It's when it goes on and on that it starts to affect your health.
