Evening, MS, I've just finished making pesto, Italian tomato sauce and eggplant parmagiana. Still got some proofreading to do when I go to bed. I am heading off soon too, but thought I'd pop in and say hullo.
How are the wedding preps going? I bet it feels like it's rushing up now...

We spent the day sorting out various things for the wedding then took a break and went out. we had a sunny but windy day here and it's still very warm even at this time of night. HRH is out hunting, and will stay out there if she doesn't come to the door soon.
I bet you house smells wonderful Jcat, lovely tomato smells. You have been busy.Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

It does smell nice, MS. I thought I had better use up all the lovely food I bought or was given before it dies and regenerates into some new life form in the back of the fridge, which is what usually happens to it. I think autumn is making me want to stock up the freezer as well.
Plus I got very little else done today so at least now I feel I've achieved something. But I haven't done the dishes yet... And I was going to get so many other things done today and I haven't :(

My dishes aren't done yet either but by the time I had done roast pork(won it) and roast kumara and steamed vegetables I was a tad full and tired. I sat back and watched Bond, James Bond while I digested dinner then I walked 5km to help make up for eating it. Mr MS has been in bed for hours and HRH is still out hunting.

Sweet dreams Jcat, I'm climbing the stairs(wearily) to bed now too. I hope you get your proofreading finished.
Have a great Saturday everyone, it was an OK day and should still be even after our road testing it for you.Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

It's 12.50am here in NZ, ... cool to d**n chilly in USA, and the night is hot in NZ everyday..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes...good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows firmly shutfor Northern TDKers' winter and flung wide open for Southern TDKers' Summer.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Jim-man. White light, healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<
