Meet Jasper, our new kitty! He is about 2 years old and a gray and white tiger. He definitely picked ME out....I think he knew what I needed. He is very sweet and seems to be a smart cat. I put large throw pillows on the chairs and sofa at night to discourage him from sleeping on them, and he must have dragged the pillow off of MY chair last night so HE could sleep in it! The pillow was a good ways from the chair....he must have thought it looked better on the floor, so he rearranged things! He made himself right at home the minute we brought him in! No, he is not my precious Gizmo, but he brings joy to me. I had a meltdown yesterday about Mo, and Jasper was right there comforting me. I saw a pic of another orangie(which I love!) at a different shelter...we are going to check him out. Along with Jasper pics, you'll find the orange/white tabby's pic and bio on my photobucket, plus a pic of Punkie, the cat we are sponsoring for adoption, in memory of Gizmo. OMG he is so beautiful! For some reason, his expression (of contentment) reminds me of Zippy--the kitty my parents had before he found his furrever home with AristaBobbi. He looks like he's been there forever. Such a sweet looking boy! I know he can't take the place of Mo, but at least he's there to comfort you and you both can begin forming new memories.

Ooooh, congratulations to both you and Jasper, Katthays!! I was just this morning wondering about when you were going to adopt!
Jasper's new cousin Milo likes dragging things off couches, as well. This morning when I came home, my blanket that I had left on the couch was in the middle of the floor!he's always moving that one to the floor - wonder if he thinks we need a rug?I'm so happy you found another boy to love KH! I wish you many happy years together!

Great News Katt...Aw, warm welcome to Jasper with smoochies from me. Dot & Crockey send purrs and headbonks...yay yay hip hip horray Jasper found his new furever luvin' home! There is a Conga line started in the cafe to usher him into the cafe & TDK Land!(I bet MO is smiling down at you with approval from the Bridge w/all of his new furry friends!)

He has his first vet appt. this afternoon....must say I don't know what to expect as when we got him at the shelter, they drew blood for a FeLeuk test(Neg!) and also trimmed his claws, and they said he was NOT a happy camper and bit so they had to muzzle him :( Hard to believe with the laid back looks of him! Oy!
