Thanks so much -- and thanks especially for the beautiful Christmas cards. A dear friend came over to my house last night and said, "Your mantel is COVERED with Christmas cards, and it looks like most of them are from cat lovers." I told her about TDK and the Christmas cards, and she said that she could not imagine that there were any nicer people in the world.
I agreed with her, and the TDK Family may have a new member soon.
Thanks again, the cards are so beautiful, and the kindness behind them takes my breath away!

Hmmm... I've been so busy at work, that I missed the trolls altogether. Unfortunately (and in my fluffiest way possible), the world is full of AH's. When I was in school, I thought that most of the little c-heads would grow out of it, and as I ran into them later in life, I realized that most of them did. However, there are a few special ones who have not progressed beyond being a 9-year-old punk. The worst thing about them is that they like to get vocal where they perceive that they will do the most damage possible. Somehow, the daily kitten chat seems like a pretty good target for this. Since they reference this website on late-night talk shows, among other well-aired forums, it makes sense that they would eventually find us here. I completely agree though, that the best recourse is to ignore them. I have made the mistake of getting into it with faceless strangers on the internet before. There is no winning. It doesn't matter how much you tell them off, or prove them a fool, you just wind up feeling like crap. For all of you hurt by the experince, my heart goes out to you. Those people can be hurtful. Try to not let them get to you. ;-)

Two things:
1) "IGNORE THE TROLLS!!!" is great advice. Any kind of reaction validates what they do, whether it's responding to their posts directly or writing about them elsewhere.
2) Use the 'REPORT' link to notify us of troll postings. We'll delete their posts quietly and quickly. Up until now the 'REPORT' link hasn't been working, but we've fixed it and tested it thoroughly.
A rhyme: Use 'REPORT', don't retort!
