Hi friends. I've been living with some bad pain for a few weeks and it's getting worse. Had an appt with gastro specialist tomorrow afternoon and called them to see if I could be seen today. After hearing my symptoms they are sending me to the ER. I'm home to pack a bag just in case I get admitted. Please say a prayer that it isn't serious and I can go to the Philly meet-up on Saturday. I will post when I get home. If you don't hear from me know I'm in the hospital and I'll try to have someone post something for me. Thank you.

Thank you, everyone. I'm home. It's probably gastritis or an ulcer and possibly a little hernia. All tests came out good except my potassium was very low so they gave me some while I was there. If the pain comes back as bad as it has been then I am to go back, otherwise keep the appt with my gastro doctor tomorrow. The pain has been so intense it wakes me up at night. Thank you for your prayers and healing white light. I'm going to go lay down now. I am still planning to go to the Philly meet-up!!! The doc said with all the stress I've been under this year he thinks it probably is an ulcer. A TDK meet-up sounds like the best prescription there is! I love you all!

Lainey, I am so sorry to hear this as I was looking forward to seeing you this weekend. By all means, your health is most important and don't make the trip if you are not well, there will be another time.
If you get the ok from the doctor and can come up here, bring your insurance card! There is a wonderful hospital 5 minutes from my house, should you need them, which I hope not.
Girl, trust your gut. We will see you when you are able, please don't jepordize your health for this visit. We want you well, here on TDK. Take good care and let me know what happens.

Thank you my loving TDK family!!! I had a pretty good night, first one in a few weeks. They gave me a "cocktail" of maalox, peppermint water, bentyl, phenobarb and lidocaine while I was there and man did I sleep after I sent my last post! They really think I'm getting a hole in my belly. I had "thought" I was dealing pretty okay with the stress. I knew I was "depressed" and with everyone's love and support here I went and got on an anti-depressant (an excellent idea and glad I followed advice). I just thought with all the sleeping I was doing that was how I was coping, but I guess the body has other ideas and does it's own thing. I will see my gastro guy at 3:30 today, he's excellent. I will probably get scheduled for an endoscopy for them to take a peak inside. If I have a good day and another good night I will DEFINITELY be at the meet-up! I REALLY need some cheerfulness, happiness and HUGS! and NEED to give hugs and thanks to this amazing family I have here. I love you ALL! I'm going back to bed. I'll say hi later!
