*Happy Monday or Moanday! Today is World Lupus Day, a day to raise awareness of this cruel disease. If you know someone who suffers, please take a moment to recognize this day. If you don't, take time to know a little more about this disease. I have a coworker with this disease and I see how it effects every aspect of her life.
*"Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that can affect various parts of the body, especially the skin, joints, blood, and kidneys." You can show your support by wearing purple or wearing a purple ribbon today (ironically enough, purple ribbons are also the symbol of brain surgery survivors!)
*The Cafe is decorated in purple today and the kittehs all have on purple ribbons. The furnets are going on and aprons are coming out of storage. I can smell homeade coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, and apple turnovers baking. As always there is bacon, sausage, ham, canadian bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Hot and cold cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, muffins and bagels are available to grab and go. Coffee and tea are brewing, juice, milk, water and sodas are at the bar.
