Polly is a fine looking kitty, my Haje looks like her with the exception that he is now getting the stray white hair here and there because he is getting older (almost ten).

Just beautiful - Looks like Polly is wearing a thick velvet coat. Love the pics.

Her fur is like very soft velvet to touch. It means she can also squirm out of your grip much more easily than a coarser haired cat. Just try giving her a pill she doesn't want to swallow!

Great pictures of Polly! Her coat is so luxurious! Thick, black and shiny with deep chocolate shining through. She looks very much like my Lyndon who went to the Rainbow bridge 6 years ago at 19 years of age. He had that same coat and in the winter months it was so thick and soft! Thank you for the pics!

I do admire your abilities with the camera Polly's Mum -well, except when I'm the subject matter that is!!! Nice to see these "properly" having viewed them on your camera when we met up. Poly is such a pretty thing, and poses beautifully.
Oh, and I also covet your wood burning stove!!!

The room is one we call the snug. It's "my" room, really little more than a corridor but it contains one reclining chair plus footstool, the radio and stereo several bookshelves and easy access to the wine fridge, and of course the stove. It's a multi-fuel so I can burn coke, coal and wood on it.
The house was built in 1860 and the fireplace dates from then, but we put the stove in about 6 years ago (my Christmas present from the whole family).

I envy the stove as well! We do have a stove, but it is a gas stove, and just not the same. I would love a proper woodburning stove or fireplace! I would also love to have an old house with loads of charm. Our house was only built in the late 1980's.

Polly's beautiful...So were the pics from your TDK get-together. You guys are as beautiful as you sound. I keep saying I have 6 black beauties...when in fact,I have 7 (6 inside). Even tho It's been several weeks since I've seen my feral Knight,I'm holding out hope that he hasn't met his end at the jaws of a coyote,or the cold,or starvation. As you can see,I'm quite partial the the black ones.
