Officially introducing Sassy Daisy

  1. Sassy Daisy now has her own catster page and the kittens are on there, too. There are four kittens but I have only succeeded in getting a good view of three of them. I think three of them are female so I'm glad we were able to get them and they are socializing with me. They are about three and half weeks old.

  12. Thanks everyone for the nice comments and friend invites. The little family is doing fine. Sassy can still be really nervous at unexplained (to her) sounds or things. The babies are starting to move about a little and I have seen two of them try out the kitten chow. They are so cute and clumsy when they try to play. Sassy will come up and lay beside my foot and put her head on it. I put a pet bed in here and she didn't get on it until I put a kitten on it. Seeing her reaction to little luxuries is a tear maker.

  17. Last night one of the kittens discovered the water dish and he took a few sips. Sassy Daisy and I watched and after a minute she decided he had had enough and she got up and gently moved him away from it. Right now the babies are getting up and wanting breakfast and she is talking to them in sweet mama cat tones. I love listening. They have their box that they cuddle in but she much prefers them to come out and be fed on the rug. :)
