Once again MC cannot sleep. Have had nasty leg cramps all night. Took some quinine and it finally seems to be working. Decided to come on in and help the kitties get the cafe back in order. They have been working from the portable cart the last few days! That is HARD work. Today they are tidying up, putting flowers on all the tables, opening up the patio seating, putting up umbrellas outside and putting on some upbeat cheery music. The Meezers are taking control today and are at your service. They are putting on furnets and aprons. They have set up an all you can eat pancake station. Please place your order, pancakes come in regular, whole wheat and pumpkin. Add ins include (but are limited by your imagination) blueberries, strawberries, chocolate chips, apples, walnuts, pecans..... Cereals, fruits, yogurt and juices are on the bar-help yourself. Today at the coffee bar the special is delicious iced coffees (regular or sugar free). Welcome to the end of the week where we can finally see the weekend on the horizon. I am going to shoot off to work to get stuff done since KYKAT will be here this afternoon. ANOTHER TDK meetup, YAY! Camera is charging up, will post pix as available. MS, Meezers zipping thru the wormhole to NZ with your order. I was gonna go meet Jeankit for lunch Saturday but am not now. I looked on a map and it is 4.5 hours ONE WAY just for lunch. My poor head and neck cannot stand that long of a drive. If she were in Milwaukee which is her hometown I could get there in about 1.5 hours. Oh well, at least I will a little time with KY KAT. Hope you sleep well MS.

It is freezing here tonight -- it is snowing in the South Island -- and I finally broke down and put the nightstore heater on. Within an hour, Libs was asleep in her basket in front of it. They are not silly when it comes to being little heat-seeking furry missiles...

Time to jump in the shower, Maddie is up so time to get my rear in gear..have to shop today, we need some food in the house, so once I get the girls their breakfast, and cleaned up, we shall go get some noms :)

I'll have a stack of pancakes with apricot syrup. And tell that Meezer at the syrup station to quit dripping it on her paws and licking it off.
Work has sure been busy for it being our "off-season" time. I've been checking in every now and then, but I usually don't have time to do much more than read a few comments here and there.
MC, there is nothing good about leg cramps.

Morning, all. Another beastly hot day here, headed for 82 degrees with probable thunderstorms. George was ricocheting on and off the bed at 5, which is when I should have gotten up so as to make it to a spinning class today; instead I chucked a pillow at him and went back to sleep. Bad Kilroy.
MC, I'm so sorry about your leg cramps; the only word for those is evil.
Too hot for pancakes, so I think I'll help myself to a peach smoothie and give some scritches to the kitties.

Good morning everyone!! MC drink more water with the quinine--tissue especially in the leg will cramp because of dehydration. I'm in New Mexico JCat--but for a round trip to Auckland I will just hop a connector flight! Shoot I would plane hop all over the place to get to Auckland!!!!
Hubby must be on MC's wavelength! He brought home fresh blueberries to make blueberry buckwheat pancakes!

I hope the storms stay away. I don't want to move in the rain. Internet is leaving between eleven and two or so. Mikes getting uhaul at 3. His dad is training in to help us move. I have a final from 3 to 5 and will help pack after. Then its off to ct! Staying in a hotel for the night and moving in tomorrow. We decided this would be best so we beat memorial weekend traffic tomorrow. My stomach is twisting I'm so nervous but I am also excited. I can't wait to have stairs and carpets !

Kilroy, I'd love to have a sweet Georgie here to calm me down. :) I wish we could have gotten together once more as well. I'll miss both you and George. I'll definitely let you know if I'm ever back in the city. Also, if you ever are going on a long trip over the summer at all (or even short) and need a cat sitter and don't mind if Mike and I stay in the apartment, I'd still gladly come and stay with Georgie. :) It'd be worth the trip!
