    Until the Chinese crack down on poaching, they're going to continue to suffer losses like these. The black market for traditional medicine (animal parts) is strong, especially now that more and more Chinese are prospering. If the money to be made is good, and there's insufficient security & punishments, I would expect to see more and more such incidents.
