  1. Have our UK TDK'ers eaten grilled cheese at the “Kappacasein Stand” at the Borough Market in London?

  2. I also like cheeses with fruits--wonder what that would taste like in a sandwich. The cranberry cheese has sparked my curiosity!

  4. I recently tried a kraft deli cheese that has bacon in it for my grilled cheese sammie. Not bad. But childhood favorites still remain, good old velveeta on plain white bread.

  5. Velveeta makes such a good grilled cheese! Mine are usually really sloppy; let the cheese ooze into the tomato soup - I'm going to dunk it anyway!

  9. Saw a recipe in the newspaper the other day for a grilled cheese desert sandwich.

Angel Food cake, Brie, strawberries and balsamic vinegar - looked delish.

  11. Love grilled cheese sandwiches and a nice Claussen pickle slice to go with it. Also love the 'smell' of tomato soup just not the taste of it. Have to have a slice of tomato on the sandwich though, that just brings out the best of both.

  12. How about a grilled cheese sandwich with mustard and a slice of onion?
Thats my Aunt Helen Special. You can put a slice of tomato on it too.
I like the smell of tomato soup too. I don't like the taste either AZ.
