  2. I added some tags for you to check--lots of good information.

This video shows you how to stimulate the kitten to go to the bathroom.

  3. Hi, Jess, you rock for trying to take care of this baby. If you have other cats at home, you will need to keep this one separate from them for a week to make sure s/he doesn't have any diseases s/he could pass on to your cat. She or he will need a vet check-up to make sure she/he's happy and healthy. If s/he has fleas, get them off with a flea comb as fleas can cause dangerous anaemia in small kittens. These are some good websites to get you started with information, and they will help you with stimulating him to poop.

At four weeks, he will probably be ready to try wet cat food, drizzled with kitten replacement formula (KRF). If you have any specific questions, we'll always try to help so keep checking back. Also click on the pink tags, top right hand corner, for previous threads on kittens and poop. A Manx or bobtail cat is not necessarily anything to worry about -- sometimes they take a while to get good at walking etc -- but your vet will be able to explain all that to you. Good luck and let us know how you and your little one get on. Have you given him/her a name yet?

  5. well Sam is a small siamese looking kitten he looked nothing like his siblings, i have tried stimulating but it didnt work and im a little worried.

  6. Have his siblings found homes too, Jess?

Little kittens don't need to go every day, I know the websites etc say they do but the experienced kitty foster mums on here tend to find they only need to poop every two or three days. As long as his tummy is soft and not hard, I wouldn't worry too much yet. You can add a few drops of vegetable oil, such as olive oil or canola) to his formula/food to help him. Give him a little bit of time and see how it goes.

  7. he can pee on his own but when it comes to trying to poop he wont. he is getting sleepier and sleeps more, but this morning he woke me up at 4:00 am just to play and i thought that was a good sign

  8. It does seem like a good sign, Jess, if you are really worried, take him to the vet. He should go for a check-up soon anyway, and to see about getting his shots.
