June 13, 2005...my baby girl Cricket was born....the only kitty of a litter and I just had to have her. Our Bastian kitty passed in May 2005 and Fred was so lonely and I was so distraught, so my niece called me and sent me pictures of this wee little Fred look alike....we had to have her. So after she was weaned, we picked her up in Aug 2005. She's such a wonderful baby. She's a momma's girl and Fred loves her to death. He still will groom her if she lays next to him, they still play and run and wrestle.
Although, I don't think she has forgiven us yet for bringing 2 non furry babies into this house...lol

Dear Miss Cricket,

Here's wishing you a purr-fect day on your Purrday! You are five just like us. We were born in May of 2005 and came to meowmy's house in August like you did! We are going to sneak thru the wormhole with some nip cookies and a special nip plant (you can harvest your own nip!). We want to give you special headbonks and purrs when we come over. Wilma sure hopes Fred will be there to say hello to!

Cricket is so excited to see her friends. It's been so long. Fred does take Wilma to the side so they can talk and cuddle a bit in the sun.
Leela gets lots and lots of hugs and gets to paint Cricket's nails. Cricket feels like a queen :)
