I got a Target @70 gift card on Friday from a coworker and received $100 from my Aunt who lives in Germany. Since we don't do presents in my family for about 15 years now, I will spend it by going for a hike with family and then a nice dinner on Christmas Day.
Today, I am going out to visit Instinct and Intuition to pickup the lovely cards that have been sent to me by TDKers and will stop by the pet shop store (if it is still open) to pick up some toys for Mia and Sylvester. I already got them a catnip plant.

Oh...I don't really like ham. I like only bacon. Has to do with a bad experience in college during Greek Week where one of the fraternities decided to cook a pig in a pit Hawaiian style. Problem was they didn't cook it right so part of it was cooked and part was decomposed. I got a big whiff of the decomposed part and haven't been ever comfortable with eating ham since.

KW...he went to his folks place. He didn't inform me that had requested our being there until an hour before he was due to leave. I've been so depressed that I started having to take my meds again because my alopecia areata has kicked in from the stressed stae I've been in.

My Prius (hybrid) also decided to give me problems yesterday. The dashboard's digital speedometer goes completely dark if I turn on the headlights. Kind of limits when I can drive. Going to call the dealer on Wednesday.

On top of everything else going wrong,I got stuck in town yesterday when I went to get more cat food (I might as well move to the back of the store,I'm having to be there so often) because my car is stalling out on me again. The idle relay switch is going out in it. It went out once before & was changed ($100 just for the part). Here I am living with a retired mechanic,& he won't keep my cars running. My Chevy is already not driveable because the starter went out on it(several months ago) & now my only other means of transportation is going out. I just can't win,ever. I take 2 steps forward,& get knocked 10 ten steps back.
