  2. Thanks for the update, Dee. I can't imagine anyone provoking a loose, Siberian tiger!

  3. that's awful. Forgive my unfluffiness, but I have a real hard time feeling sorry for someone stupid enough to provoke a loose tiger. I think Tatiana did us a favor by removing the influence to the gene pool.

  4. It's just unfortunate that Tatiana had to pay with her own life for some idiot's stupidity. And I had already heard the story of the trainer whose arm got shredded last year. The trainer put her arm through to pet Tatiana WHILE SHE WAS EATING! DUH!

  5. Thanks, Dee, for the update. They deserved what they got, but poor Tatiana was the victim in this. Such a terrible loss of one of an endangered species. I hope these guys get the punishment they deserve!

  6. I'm so sorry for Tatiana...So innocent in this whole fiasco!! God knows its all such an unnecessary incident!

  7. I had heard about the possibility that the tiger was taunted on the news, too. The tiger was only doing what tigers naturally do. What a terrible shame that they couldn't have used a dart gun to just stun her and get her back in her enclosure.

  8. Maybe those idiots will win the Darwin award.
Sorry to seem uncaring but Sheesh!

  9. And why do I suspect that the survivors will sue the zoo (which will probably settle to avoid an extended court battle), sell their story, and make thousands, if not hundreds of thousands? Instead, they should PAY a fine that would go to tiger conservation.

  10. I am saddened by the unnecessary loss of the majestic Siberian. Cats should ALWAYS be saved. Sigfried and Roy must be in mourning too.

  11. I agree with williamsweyr. I am always angry that they go and kill the animal for doing what is natural to them. I am not happy with zoos and how they treat the animals and refuse to go visit any zoo.
