Mama Lynn, my friend I can hardly type because I can't see too well right now.
My eye glasses are wet and fogging up.
I am so sorry to hear about Lady. When I was at your house, I think I did get a peek at her from down the hallway. I think at one point, she did make it out to the LR. Can't remember.
I hope all your friends here have helped to comfort you. They all write so beautifully. (as do you) I only met you once, but I feel like I have known you a long time. I still relive the TDK Luncheon. What a bunch of friendly great people. And Emma, you are an angel. You are just outstanding.
Lynn, I think thats great that you have a vet that will come to your house.
Well take care, and know that we all care about you. Love, JeanPosted 1 year ago by jeanjellibean20 #

Thank you Jean, and yes you did see her very briefly. I thank you for your comments and know they are a great comfort to me. I am glad you have fond memories of the luncheon and hope we can do again soon.

I'm very sorry for your sad news and the pain you're feeling right now. The fact that you know you did the proper thing won't help much to begin with, but as you come to terms with your loss it will comfort you that you did your best for your beloved kit all the time, even when it meant saying goodbye.

Awwww dearest Lynn,
I am heartbroken over your darling Lady having to cross the bridge. I didn't know anything was even wrong with her! I know your heart is breaking and I hold you close in thought and prayers. Many hugs to you, Kay and Lucky! Poor Lucky wondering where his sister is. Please give him extra scritches for me. X O X -
Lynn I'm so sorry to hear about your beautiful Lady. Time is the only real healer of such intense pain and sadness. I hope that you and Lucky can comfort one another as you learn to share your days, missing your pretty girl. Prayers of comfort to you both. (((Lynn))) (((Lucky)))

You are such a wonderful bunch of friends. I have looked over this post time and time again, knowing your words have helped me through this last 24 hours. I looked like a train wreck this morning, eyes swollen and bloodshot, tired, as only something like this can make you. I didn't sleep well, wandered the house, for what reason, I don't know. Lucky is doing well, considering and loving the one on one attention. Maybe I neglected him a bit too much in the past. He is looking around for his sister, but seems to be calm and ok for the most part.
I am so grateful for my many friends here, and know that if you need me, I shall be there for you as well. You have my utmost love and thanks for helping me through this. I love you all. Kiss your babies, for you never know.
Much love and gratitude, Mama Lynn

Lynn, truer words have never been spoken.... "for you never know". It is a life lesson that we all should remember every single day.

Lynn more than anything I wish I could give you a hug and cry for you. The crying part is easy--but I would like to ease the pain. I don't know that anything other than time heals those wounds to not be as raw as they are right now. Continued prayers--that is the best I can do from so far away.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Lynn. You are in my prayers. I admire your strength for doing the right thing for Lady in releasing her to the bridge. Love you, my friend. {{{hugs}}}

Lynn, I'm so sorry; I've been away and hadn't heard. Give as much extra love and attention to Lucky that you can. It will surely help comfort him. And give him some extra petting from me.
Having a vet willing to come out to your house for a final visit is a blessing. Lady was spared the stress of having to travel to the vet's office, and that is a great kindness.

Lynn I have been ill and not been on much. I am so very sorry for your loss. You and Lucky will be in my prayers. And I know Emma's beautiful story is true - my orange Redford will be with your Lady, playing and cuddling and happy to have another orange friend, along with Gizmo. Bless you for having the courage to do the right thing and release your Lady from suffering. She will be under the loving care of The Wolf until you are reunited.

Emma, I had to wait for a quiet time to read your story. Beautiful, comforting and so special. Thank you. Lynn, I am so very sorry. It is so hard for the babies to pass. I have been thinking about my sweet Shih Tzu, Sophie. She live 16 years and raised Wilbur and T-Do as kittens.I know that she was there waiting. Hugs to you and as always you are in my prayers.
