I loved living in Farmington! It was close enough to Santa Fe to go and visit but not have to live the weirdness of Santa Fe 24/7!

Well, based on a lifelong experience of a permanently lost mother (she could not find North with a compass), the left turn joke is the natural place for me to go.
She and Dad spent about a year in San Francisco. They went there from Oklahoma and passed through Albuquerque. Dad was a no nonsense traveler so it was a straight through passage. I grew up on the tales of her getting lost in San Francisco and spent a life of saying, "No, Mom, your other left!"
Obviously, I find a lot of truth in the requirement of the Left at Albuquerque to maintain a decent sense of direction ;)

PJ, go ahead and email. If they are too busy to answer, then we'll have to wait in suspense for a bit more. If they are down to the wire, but no baby yet, knowing that we are all waiting for an announcement won't hurt.

Hey all, sorry that there have been no updates for a while. Had a computer rebuild to get through while working, unpacking the house, getting over a viral infection that has settled into bronchitis, and getting settled into life in the great Southwest.
Anyway, new computer is now running (as you can see by me being able to post) and Jamie will be delivering by c-section on April 5th at noon. We don't know the sex for two reasons; One - Jamie want's it to be a surprise, and Two - the kid is so dang stubborn that when they tried to get a picture of his/her face during the ultrasound the kid put his hands over his face to hide!
So, no mad rush to the hospital while counting time between contractions. Nope, this will be a simple in get it done type thing. Weird part to me is that they don't use stitches on the outside anymore, now its a surgical glue called Dermabond. So they are going to glue my wife back together I guess.
Good thing I have decent insurance, if it was the bargain basement kind they might use duct tape instead.
And yes, I'll get back to blogging soon.

Oh, HOW EXCITING!!!! Thanks SO much for the update as we have all been wondering. :) I think the sex of the baby being a "surprise" is great!!! We were surprised when I had my daughter too. :) FUN! I enjoy your blogs as well!!! April birthdays are so nice! Can't what to hear all about "Insight". Whoo HOO!!!!!
