   So around 2:40 tomorrow I am going to my local animal shelter to get a kitten so Bianca wont be lonley anymore when I'm at school. I am still sad about Rocky's death and its been about a month sense he died, but I think rescuing another kitten will help and Bianca will have a new playmate. I can't wait to see which kitten chooses me! I'll update you with photos when I get it! I'm not sure if I should get a girl or boy? Bianca is a friendly, happy go lucky kitty so I know it will be an easy adjustment for her...so do you guys just think I should see what kitty picks me and don't think about genders?

   A kitty will pick you. They always seem to know where they need to be. I bet Bianca is growing into a beautiful cat. I remember the sad story of Rocky and the wonderful story of how you got Bianca. You are a very caring and sensitive young lady CF. Continue to do well in school too.

   Maybe consider looking at older kitties as well as kittens?

   Regardless of which chooses you, that's a wonderful idea. Kitties really like companionship, even though they do end up sleeping a lot when you're not around (lol). There's security just knowing another critter's around.

    Awwww good for you!! Bianca is such a fortunate kitty to have you for a mommy!! She'll just LOVE having a buddy to keep her company. Awwww.... Bless you! I can't wait to hear all about "who" picks you! How exciting!!!! I know my 4 love to be around each other and I actually enjoy having multiple cats. I'm sure Rocky would be pleased as well. RIP precious boy!!!

    So I went to the animal shelter and there were sooo many kittens! It was hard to choose, I picked up a majority of them and right when I picked up one particular gray tabby kitten, he started licking my fingers and purring so I decided to adopt him! I named him Archy and he is adorable! He is about 8 weeks old and his stripes are broken up so he looks like he is spotted all over...so I guess he is a gray spotted tabby? Lol. He has a very cute face and I adore him! I introduced him and Bianca when I got home. He was in his carrier, so Bianca couldn't hurt him. To my surprise, Bianca fluffed up her fur and hissed at Archy, then ran to my room and his under my bed. Archy is curious about her and I know Bianca will come around. Any suggestions for the pair to get along? Anything will be appreciated, thanks! I'll post pictures soon of my little boy. ;)

    Congrats on the newest member of the household :)

    Remember to always give attention to Bianca first when they are both in a room, it was hers first and why should she be put out because of the 'interloper'....talk to Cheri about this, lol!

    Thanks for the article, Azdebra! They had some good things in there that I will try. Today, While Archie played with some toys, Bianca watched him from afar and was sure to be atleast 10 feet away from him at all times. She gives Archie a good hiss if he comes to close, but it is still an improvement from yesterday. I'm going to be posting pictures soon, my camera is charging right now.

    Feliway plug in diffusers! - Feliway is a synthetic hormone, and it's really good at calming cats in stressful/anxious situations. Archy sounds like a little cutie! - I bet in a week or so he and Bianca will be best buddies :o)

    Awwwww... Archy sounds like a little sweetie pie. Bianca will adjust to Archy and they will be fast friends in no time. I've never tried the Feliway plug in diffusers but everyone who has seems to really love them. Can't wait to see pics! =)
