My kittens go absolutely BONKERS for caramel. But only the caramel from mcdonalds that comes with the apple slices. So they're very picky very weird cats. Other than that, when my older one was a baby we had given him Yogurt to help him digest things a little better(as per the vet) and he absolutely loved that. As well as the pumpkin to help him poop absolutely bonkers for all three of these items.

Corn pops, macaroni and cheese and Roxy doesn't drink my pop but she does stick her face in the glass every single time and then walk away sneezing from the carbonation bubbles lol

Chester loves (live) crickets! He can finish off 20 crickets in five minutes flat :) I'm sure everyone else would love them if Chester didn't hog them all...

To IAREKAY: There is a fairly new food from the Weruva company called Soulistic that they make only for Petco. There's a flavor called Harvest Sunrise that is chicken and pumpkin, that your cat might enjoy. It comes in a pouch or 3 oz. cans. Petco has actually just begun selling a lot more holistic brands of dog and cat food. They are renovating the store (at least here in NYC) and it looks sensational. It took them long enough. It was exceptionally dreary and for the longest time refused to carry anything remotely holistic or non-toxic. I remember asking them years ago to carry World's Best Cat Litter and they refused until a couple of years ago. Luckily, here in NYC I have a lot of small independent pet-supply stores or small pet-supply chains to choose from. I know the Soulistic line is popular because the shelf for those cans is often empty or near so.

my friend can not have marshmallows in her house or her cat will either tear the bag to shreds getting some or scream at the cupboard they are kept it...very strange

Ruggles eats anything that is not red hot or nailed to the floor. (I've mentioned this before, but if anyone emptied that little lad's stomach, they would probably find a teeny-tiny little license plate in it -- like in "Jaws.")
Rotley will eat fruit (apples, grapes, bananas), breakfast bars, turkey stuffing, and pasta.
And both of them favor anything terribly expensive (Alaska wild-caught salmon) that I did not think they would eat and was planning to eat myself.
*Emma shakes her head in wry amusement.*

I've tried to be a good meowmom & just give catfood or kit treats but Dot has to have her whipped creme or occasional cheese ball (round cheetoh)just for fun! I haven't given Crockey people snacks for he eats enough w/his & sneaking Dot's too! Some foods past kits enjoyed are grapes, canatlope, tiny canned shrimpies along w/bugs & birdies!

Cousin Spike loves cereal flakes. When he's staying with us, I can't leave my breakfast untended even for a second. He doesn't like the milk though, so he shakes the flake until all the milk is off.
Sneakers thinks anything in a plastic bag has to be a treat for him. He drags the bags under the dining room table and chews holes in them. He always looks so disgusted when he finds things like puzzle pieces or sweaters. But he's happy as can be when it turns out to be waffles, tamales, thawing chicken, corn on the cob or a loaf of bread. (Those are the things he has run off with recently.)
Cheetah eats dry food and low-allergen treats and nothing else, not even a little piece of shrimp or chicken.

Amore' is our little eater. She eats ALL of the wet food, her dry food, her snacks and, because apparently we don't feed her enough, she also eats spiders! ICK! Bella is alot more picky. The funny thing that they both do, however, is walk up to my coffee cup, stick their little faces in it and then make the most disgusted face I've ever seen. Hilarious!!

Ginger likes yougurt, kefir and butter (I give him small servings of the first two -- he occasionally manages to help himself to the last).
He used to like squash, but hasn't gone for it in a long time. He usually wants to smell what is on my plate or in my bowl, but doesn't actually want to eat any of it -- thankfully.
But this thread just reminded me of a dog that lived at a house that I did about 12 years ago. She was a good sized dog who loved, loved and loved apples. Once she was out on a walk and passed a low-hanging branch of an apple tree. She reached up grapped and apple in her mouth and ran off with her prize.

Reminds me of something I was going to post earlier and forgot but Roxy gets VIOLENT if I don't let her see what I am eating! I'll be sitting on the couch eating cereal or something else and she sticks her head up between me and the coffee table and always manages to yank down the bowl/plate roughly to the point I almost spill! I always tell her, "There's a reason why Mommy is holding her cereal bowl above her head!" I seemed to have solved this problem...the squirt bottle sits out on the coffee table and I just point it at her when I don't want her to be a greedy-butt!
Emma, I swear you have the best stories! LOL I always giggle! \

My cats love bread. I can't leave bread out on the counter or Sophie will tear it open. She also ate a piece of pizza out of a box that I swear was closed when I left the kitchen. For the most part, all three cats but particularly Sophie and Nathaniel just like to put their noses in the food and then not eat it. Silly cats.

Misty absolutely loves anything that crackles. What crackles best?? Cellophane, the stiff kind, not the soft kind. She loves it so much, she tracks it down relentlessly. I simply can't have it upstairs in my apt. Of course when she gets ahold of it, she's sick for days and days.
Have I ever told you guys about the time she ate the gecko?

Maiya will pretty much eat ANYTHING I have. She LOVES Vanilla Frozen yogurt and Ice pops, but only the blue rasberry. We share lol. She will also share sandwiches with me. She will take a bite from my sandwich and eat it... bread and all. Here is a sweet picture of her licking my frozen yogurt cone :)...
