  1. I accidentally left the door to the garage door open a crack yesterday, and my cats got into the garage. They even left paw prints all over the windshield of my car!

The worst part is that now Benkei has a splotch of motor oil on his face! I tried wiping it off to no effect. Does anyone know of a good way to remove motor oil from a cat? Maybe his fur just needs to grow out?! (If only they sold a bottled version of that famous TDK "white light" to clear up the oil LOL!)

  2. I'm not sure how to get it out (I'm checking), but make sure he doesn't lick it, it could make him sick (I'm sure you know that, but just in case).

ETA: I don't know if you have access to a dishwashing liquid called Dawn, but it's used to clean up animals that get caught in oil spills.

  4. I've had to do this with Titch when he got under a car once...shower gel and the shower I'm afraid, Benkei won't like it, but it does the job. Good luck!

  5. Dawn is definitely the real deal and works for fleas too! Be very careful not to get it or the rinse water into Benkei's eyes.

  6. Dawn--that's what they used to get the oil spills off birds and animals. Good to remove fleas also.
