  1. I was sitting on the couch when I heard a faint mew, mew mew. Betty and Wilma ran to the window followed by me. I didn't see anything so I opened the door to the cutest (roughly) six month old kitten. She looked exactly like Molly who went to the Bridge in July. A silvery Maine Coon with white socks in back, cute white toes in front and a white bib. She was squealing and so I went out to make sure she was ok. She kept circling my feet so I came inside to get her some food and water. She ate like she hadn't eaten in days. As soon as she finished eating she jumped right on my lap and started purring. I teared up and wondered if Molly had sent her. She tried to walk right in the house with me. The girls are sitting on the window ledge watching her. I pray she finds her home if she lost her way but part of me wonders if there isnt a new little Flintstone on the block!

  4. MC...I bet Molly sent her...A healthy her in baby form :)
Hmmmmmm, what names can we give her...Pebbles? Pearl(Wilma's mom), Edna(Fred's Mom)
    Could you keep her MC?

  5. My sister already said she will be living inside by the weekend! I have been looking online to see if anyone is missing her, she is so cute and I can't imagine her not belonging to someone! Maybe she is microchipped.

  6. Sounds like a heaven sent kitty to me. It really couldn't hurt to feed her, since she is hungry..... and let her hang out awhile.(Maybe forever)!!! :)
Do the microchip check, but I would guess she does not have one.

  7. Sounds like you need to make arrangements to introduce her to Betty and Wilma!! *wink* *wink*

  8. She is introducing herself to Betty and Wilma. She is crawling up the wall and mewing at them. She is not backing down. They aren't so sure of her but they are not backing away either. She is really cute and quite chatty out there!

  10. Check to see if she has a microchip and if not...MC has a new furrbaby!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to celebrate when she is *yours*

The Universe has a funny way of working...I truly do believe Molly sent her your way...after all, they are the spitting images of one another? How much more of a sign do you need! :)

  11. The man is here doing the grass so she ran and hid under the bushes. I am not going to bother her. If she is hear in the morning I will run her to the vet's office around the corner to have her "scanned". Why do I think you are right RM? A new baby!?

  12. OMG look at her staring up at you like that! She seems heaven sent, alright. Even though it was a boy character, I vote for "Bamm-Bamm" as her name, because The Flinstones' Bamm-Bamm was an orphan too, and also because he was strong, and this new fur friend of yours seems very strong willed!

  14. Awwwwwwwww, MC, I would tear up too in between all the usual kitty talk. So exciting wondering if this will be a new Flintstone or a wonderful rescue of someones loved pet.

  15. She's very pretty. Did you get your hands on her at all? Did she feel thin?

Posted 1 year ago by Skyron #

  16. Oh she was a snuggler Sky. I did indeed. She was boney and pretty thin under all her fur! She ate and drank like it had been a while. I pray she has a home and I can return her to some happy family. If not, then maybe we have ourself a Pebbles or a BamBam or a who knows who?

  17. Lol, I have 3 'walk-ins' at my house, they all 'found' me and made themselves at home....

  18. I just hope for your sake she is healthy and isnt carrying any awful diseases. There is this kitty at work who 'found' me too. Sure as poo looks like a purebred chinchilla, he's also very thin. I'm sure he must have a home. Purebreds dont just decide to leave home on a whim. Off course, the dilemma is if you pick it up, take it home, and have it checked by the vet for a chip and he doesnt have one, do you go and take him back and leave him outside again?? My heart isnt made for this.

  19. My vet told me that often kits in the 6 month age, are "door dumped", because their owners or caretakers realize the expenses of spay/neuter. If you take sweetkins in for microchip scan, they should be able to tell if she is spayed too. She sounds like such a loving lap kit......:)

  21. My first thought was BamBam also (kinda for the way your heart went 'bam, bam, bam -bam- bam!' when you first saw her~~heehee)

  22. oh hopes she comes back :)

  23. I think she came to you for a reason..

  24. And then there were two. I went to put a box on the porch with some newspapers for her to sleep in tonight and she had a little kitty friend with her. Oh it breaks my heart.

  25. Ooooooh! No, happy heart! TWO kitties!!! :)

  26. Maybe they were 'dumped' by a family who moved and left them behind. It certainly sounds like they knew where they could find a friend.

I don't remember what the final outcome was when FF's kitty was sick. Does he need two kitties to make his house full?

  27. He still has his kitty. She is basically "comfort care" as there is nothing they can do to help her. Eventually the tumor will overtake her heart and she will need to go to the Bridge but for now she seems ok. I know they are defintely not going anywhere now. Food, water and a cozy box.

  28. Oh my- Maybe there will be a Pebbles AND a Bamm-Bamm? The first cat is so sweet to bring a friend to share with...."Hey, come with me and meet this nice lady who cares!"

Posted 1 year ago by pucca #

  29. Pucca, I am convinced kittens/cats know exactly which houses to go to! The second kitty is much smaller than the first. A sort of Russian Blue kitty, very lively!
