Welcome to Sunday night! There is a severe thunderstorm warning for us here so we have the emergency candles lit and flashlights all around. The a/c is on the cut thru the humidity. We have soups, salads, sandwiches, cheesecakes, pies and cookies for a nice easy Sunday night. The fountains are tapped and ready to flow. Evening my friends.
Awwww sister's cat was very pretty.Girls are bathed and just counting down the time for bed. They are wound up so I know it will be a long night getting them down.
Was supposed to have my biopsy tomorrow, but I have to reschedule....Mother nature came early this month :(

Yay Mother Nature! She visited me early this month too, think it was the nasty sickness. We are getting a doozy storm that just "popped up" on the radar. Apparently from here to Iowa they are just "popping up" all over the place. Yay! Sending them your way tomorrow CM. AZ, how is AZ? My sister is still complaining its "hot" there. Really, what did she think was gonna happen? Cold weather!? LOL

MC, its overcast and hot, lol have to laugh at your sister....tell her, "It's the DESERT!" of course its HOT, ok maybe just a little hot, oh yeah did I mention HOT....but at least its not like the Yuma type of HOT or Death Valley kind of HOT!!!

Hey everyone. Just stopped to say hello. I miss y'all so much. Working lots. Nursing my poor teeth (broke a tooth a week ago and dentist can't see me till Wednesday...grrr). Went and played bingo with the family today. Had a million other things I could have/should have done but it was nice to do a bunch of nothing for a change!
I get Boo Boo back later in the week. I plan to spread his ashes on my Daddy's grave. Will wait till we know we are gonna have some rain so he kind of soaks in. I know it probably doesn't matter but it makes me happy.
I think my extra hours will start slowing down in about two more weeks. I'm doing a really good job and getting lots of recognition. Now if they could just convert that to money or even better, a promotion!
Y'all take good care and I'll be checking in when I can. Don't forget about me!

Hey guys!..... nice evening/day..... had lunch at BIL's... he BBQed for me and MIL.... (our birthdays are 2 days apart!)..... then got home and Son and I made 'skunk' and 'sugar-glider' food four ABOUT 3 HOURS!...... who knew the intricate receipes that it takes to keep these exotic animals in 'good health'! LOL..... then Mr. AV, Son and I played 'virtural golf' in Mr. AV's new golf studio!...... he got it up and running, and it's AWESOME!!!!.... it's like playing a real course, or you can do 'fantasy' golf, or 'gooney golf', or any numerous of things that a computer can generate!...... I swear, it's the wave of the future, and it's really cool!

Sorry to have vanished...it took almost 2 hours to get Abbie in bed asleep...she kept climbing out of her bed...would play, I would go in put her back to bed, she would get out, try to climb on her dresser, I would go in, put her back in bed, she would cry, get out, bang on the door, ...it was a vicious cycle....finally she got so exhausted she went to sleep. Wayne was taking care of Maddie and got her to bed and was getting all the garbage together for tomorrow morning so he was no help. I asked him for 5 minutes so I can say good night to Maddie and he made it worse by yelling at her and freaking out so I stepped back in and just sucked it up.
I am going to grab a cool drink and head to bed! Hugs to all!!!

I hear ya, CM! We had the baby over the weekend and she got up way to early. Cranky, horrible, and just a nightmare! Once she got a nap she was better, but we shuttled her happy butt home!~ Poor Kay, I don't know how she does it 5 days a week! I hope you have a restful night. See you soon.

Quiet Sunday evening for once. Neighbor's kids are either at their Grandma's or they must be watching a movie as I don't hear the usual noise tonight. Temperature didn't seem to get above 65 degrees today. It was 80 degrees yesterday. Recording both True Blood season finale and Mad Men and will watch them tomorrow. Pile of work awaits me at the office tomorrow morning. Nice to be busy but am feeling a overloaded. Getting to the point where I need to ask to have a work laptop so I can work from home at times. Still trying to decide if I want that as I am told it makes it easier for work to take over one's home life. I am off to bed now. Sweet dreams all.

Traffic has been sparse since the last post so I'm guessing most people are tucked up in their beds(US)some are still enjoying their evening (NZ) or just getting to work(UK).
It's 3.49 am AZ time (MST), ... the night is d*#* chilly in NZ (but spring has shown its head finally) and really warm in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters or the a/c, so here goes gratis Moonshadow, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' summer and closed for Southern TDKers' winter.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, may their passings be gentle and their fur friends waiting for them over the Rainbow Bridge. please watch over us >^..^<
