  1. Hello Hello all! I've been lurking about the forum for a few weeks now, and finally decided to join! I grew up with many a kitty as a farm girl, and now that I'm all moved into my new kitty-friendly apartment, I've sought feline companionship once more, in the form of this sweetheart, http://www.catster.com/cats/694601 Her name is Sasha, and she'd love to say hi, but she's currently holed up underneath the bed (I just got her last night, so she's still getting used to the new apartment and to me!) She's a purebred Blue Mink Ragamuffin with white mittens, docile as they come (but many rags are...) Someday soon, she'll venture out to say hi as well...but 'til then, you have me! I look forward to getting to know all of you, and to learning about all your little furries!

  10. MT, I used to be much more involved in SCA, but its kind of taken a wayside now with school and working and such. The farm I grew up in was in MN, which is where I still live. Hello neighbor, indeed! *waves*

  20. Welcome LC ...Sasha is very beautiful! I am mom to 4 once feral sibblings.. Tuffy, Oreo, Shady & Sugarfoot. I've only just obtained a camera so it will be a while before I'm prepared to do Catster. Somebody tell me how to freeze-frame these cats for a photo!!!!!!!!!!!!! New respect here for you photo takers..It's Tough!! LOL.. :)

    I hope Sasha warms up awful quick to her new furr-ever home! What a absolute doll she is! :) Make yourself completely at home here,LC.A warmer,more genuine group of real folks and cat-worshippers you're not likely to find than here.(I may sound immodest,but I'm only speaking what I feel.) The liveliest forums/threads here are the TDK Cyber Cafe(mornings thru early afternoon) and the Night-Shift(usu.4pm EST thru 10 or so),feel free to join in the virtual creative camraderie that ensues! :D

  25. LadyChristy & Sasha, welcome to TDK. She is a beautiful Ragamuffin and she will come around to being the wonderful kitty you want her to be. If you get the time, as KittenWhisperer said above, edit your profile and put your http://www.catster.com/cats/694601 on the page (believe its under the website portion) and your name will show up in pink....that way anyone can see how pretty she is when they see your post(s). TDK is a pretty great family, I myself am normally on during the Night Shift as I work midnights and that is my awake time..but someone is here almost 24/7 unless there are storms (i.e., the West Coast right now) or sports games on, lol.
