Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  8. You make it sound like a bad thing Instinct.

    The drooling, that is.

  9. Did I say good or bad? No, I didn't, so it must be your own guilt projecting that :D

  10. i just finished a book about nell gwynne, who was charles ii of england's mistress for 17 years...what i can't figure out is when he had time to be king, he loved the ladies...

  11. Here's a report of the Craig comment. Yuck.

  12. he had 12 mistresses, not including the many one night stands...had 12 children, one mistress had 6 children with him...

  13. William IV made Charles II look like an eunuch. Notice neither one lived long.

Posted 4 years ago by gatakitty #

  14. Well maybe the ass shouldn't have taken the role of Bond if he is so opposed to guns. OK, scratch the jerk off the list

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  15. henry i had 25 bastard children and 6 heirs, yet do to the sinking of the white ship, only 2 of his own children survived...

Posted 4 years ago by CSBM #

  16. At least Roger Moore had the good sense to wait until 20+ years after his last Bond role to complain!

Posted 4 years ago by gatakitty #

  17. louis xiv was a real lady's man, too

Posted 4 years ago by CSBM #

  18. True.

OK, I don't get how a king has that much time to father that many kids. You'd think he would tire out or something

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  19. I'm outta here. See you guys tomorrow. Have a good night.

  20. Interesting thing I learned recently: You may already know (as I did) that bastard children of the English kings were given the surname "Fitzroy" (meaning "son of the king"). But last weekend I learned that the -es or -ez at the end of Spanish surnames also means "son of"--thanks to the Visigothic influence. Therefore, guess what the name "Reyes" or "Reyez" means: you guessed it--"son of the king"!

    *Ver-r-r-r-ry eeenteresting...but shtupid!"

  25. Sorry, o benevolent and protective wingleader. You're right...I should have conceded to you. You look more like Arte Johnson than I do! lol

  26. Especially when I put my glasses on :D

Have you ever seen "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid"?

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  27. No, I haven't. I did see where "The Jerk" will be on Friday night, though!

  28. i am redecorating my bedroom medieval style - bed canopy on ceiling, floor to ceiling velvet drapes, lots of wrought iron and candles, tapestries on walls, lights that look like torches, oh and yes a sword on the wall...

Posted 4 years ago by CSBM #

  29. That sounds cool, Cheri. Gonna have a coat of arms to go with the sword?

It's on InDemand out here Ginny, very funny. A comic tribute to all the Film Noir detective movies. I highly recommend it

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  30. That sounds very much like something I once saw on Changing Rooms (I only watched the BBC America version--never could get into the American version). They had a deep orangish-red color on the wall and wood floors. The accent color was black. I thought it was cool, but the owner hated it--she cried over it.
