  2. yes, i'll have a coat of arms, i'll use the one i'm making for my SCA persona when it finally gets approved...

  3. OK--I'll have to look into that--funny thing about me, though. I will pay money for the new releases I really want to see (like "Book of Secrets), and will buy DVD's of movies I like, then not watch them for months (for instance, I still haven't seen "Good Night and Good Luck" although I've been carrying it in my laptop case since November--I think I'll watch it tomorrow.) However, I rent movies extremely rarely, and have NEVER used ppv. Go figure.

  4. That's why I could never do one of those shows, I wouldn't trust anyone with redecorating my place. I saw one where the owners only request was to not paint any of the furniture because it was this wonderful wood.

What did they do first thing? Painted it all white. Room looked like a hospital ward when they got done

  11. Everyone is doing a fine job of closing up the shop, thanks!!!

Here and reading back threads in between calls on the radio, and dealing with my allergies which have kicked in full force tonight.

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  12. Evening Debra, sorry to hear your allergies are misbehaving, reading back posts too.

  13. MS, evening Janet, the allergies are just annoying so my patience with new agents is not at its best tonight. How are you today and did your rain stop yet?

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  14. We didn't really get any rain just a few very short light showers, today we had blue sky and sunshine again.I'm disappointed the ants have let me down as natures rain warning system for the first time ever. I played my first ever game of Rummy Kub and beat MiniKK, now I know she's a kid but she is darned hard to beat at games. Then we went swimming and it was soooo good to cool off.

  15. Its good that you are having a good visit w/Mini-KK....sorry about the ants, maybe they are taking a vacation.

  16. MiniKK and I have fun, I'm going to teach her how to smoke fish. Hubby is out overnight with two friends fishing and the fish they have caught so far aren't great eating fish unless you smoke them. Eldest daughter gave hubby a fish smoker 2 years ago and he made another out of an old kitchen sink and I think we will have both going. We have a native wood here that makes a beautiful smoked flavour, I've just got to come up with some ideas of spices or other things to put on the fish like sweet chili ginger sauce.

  17. that is great that you are teaching her to do that, KK was talking about it earlier. Aunt's get to have the fun of teaching their nieces/nephews the fun things in life. I never really got to know mine, was always overseas and didn't talk to my brother because of his drug-usage so they grew up without me to corrupt...oh yeah teach them things.

  18. Educational corruption or familial life lessons are a necessity for a well balanced upbringing. They are also just so darned much fun for the person giving the lessons. Kids now days miss out on so much when it comes to the world around them and learning funny things. Instinct earlier was talking about making a bow for his nephew, we used to do that as kids and we played an awesome game in the early evening, a type of 'tiggy' or 'go home stay home'. When one of my brothers married last year there was a bunch of first and second cousins ranging in age from 9-60 and we all played the game as if we were 12 again. What fun we had reliving our past, the screams of delight and frustration at being found, but the next day we were all limping and bruised, but happy.

  19. I miss being close to my family, but haven't lived close to them physically since I was 18 yrs old. I admire and envy close families, probably why I insist that the kids and I stay in touch a lot.

  20. All of us cousins were quite close but as we got older, married and had children of our own we have drifted apart, but bring us together again for a wedding or even a funeral and it's like we were never apart, the younger generation look at us older ones oddly, they can't figure out how so many people who they haven't heard of on a regular basis can laugh and play and act like a bunch of monkeys. That's my family anyway, you can see how MiniKK's monkey George fits right in. I have to go now that it is tomorrow, one last whistle for Shadz and then the bed is mine, all mine Ha ha ha ha, oops got carried away. Goodnight Debra, goodnight Erin, goodnight Johnboy.

  21. WooHoo, the bed is all mine. Zzzzzzzzzzzz :-)

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  22. G'night Janet, pet Shadz for me if she decides to come inside for the evening....and yes I do see how George fits in just like natural born family. Til tomorrow, enjoy the day and have a good night's sleep. Ciao >^..^<
