  2. We have sunshine and blue sky today after several very overcast days. The UV rays were still getting through and this redhead got a wee bit burnt, it's ok KK, the 'kid' had her hat on. It was so hot that my sunscreen melted off my face. The upside is my toes didn't get burnt. KK, did you see the phrase above, 'Age and experience gets over youth any time'.

  5. Hi, PJ. Yes, they both started trying to scratch on the posts before I had it all put together. They knew it was for them, I guess. They supervised every step of the assembly!

  8. I'm back! KW - I'm so glad you got the babies a castle like Bob! It looks as if they're enjoying it! Bob knew what to do with it right away, too! As soon as I started taking the parts out of the box, he was there in a flash! (the sisal posts were a clue!).
    I did get it on E-Bay - my first and only try at that. It was great!

    I was just checking my email, and now I really am going to hop into bed! Bob is glaring at me from the top of his castle where he likes to sleep when his Mama is on the computer.

  10. Time I went and played with KK's kid, we played scrabble yesterday and we managed to get a rude word on the board. It started with B and ended with M and was three letters long. There were squeals of delight. I'm being a very good Aunt. Bye all, see some of you later.

  18. The sun has come out and dried up all the rain and Incy Wincy spider...ooops no spider but lots of American tourists have come off a cruise ship that docked in Wellington today and are all over the streets. They forget they have to walk on the left hand side of the pavement here!

  29. :D Well you should get her the book for girls. I told my brother that when my nephew is 10 I am making him his first bow.

    My brother freaked out and said it was too dangerous, so now I am going to make it and send it to my dad, and Grandpa can teach my nephew how to shoot a bow since my brother has obviously lost his mind somewhere
