  5. The day was fine. Traffic on the way home wasnt fine. Some idiots decided to take road rage to a whole new level and started a shoot-out on my usual route home. Had to take a detour that took 2 hours longer than than my usual 1 hour of traffic everyday. Grrrrr. Had petrol-fume sickness when i got home.

  6. :( Sky that bites, sorry that ppl decided to be idjits!

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  7. and you do realise off course that 2 people being idiots inspires the inner idiot in other people to come up for air. there were people, not involved in the initial shooting, who joined in. seriously, wth do people have guns in their cars??

  8. Hi all!! Is it friday yet??? I'm telling you this class this year is going to make me crazy(Oh wait i'm all ready there? Where do I go from here??)

Posted 1 year ago by 3 kits staff #

  9. Sky, all I can say is 'poor home training' for those who resort to violence. Never quite understood road rage, if someone comes up on me really fast, I just slow down until it is safe for me to move to another lane. They usually end up at the same light as I do even with their 'got to get their attitude'.

  10. 3 kits, my parents work for a brick factory. they have very life-like real looking foam replicas of some of their bricks. i have one, that i throw at kids in my class if they make me mad or dont pay attetion. scares the crap out of them. would you like one?

  11. Wow! Skyron, glad you escaped getting in the middle of that.
Thanks so much for the punch recipe, Deb. It will be a nice treat for us at work when the weather gets colder.
Going to the Guardian of the Owls movie tonight with a group from the zoo. Last Saturday I went with a friend to see Secretariat. Highly recommend that movie.

  12. Sky I would love one to throw at other staff members!!

Posted 1 year ago by 3 kits staff #

  13. Ladykat, I want to see both of those movies with Secretariat being the first. Watched/listened to him win that race so many years ago :)

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  14. Ladycat let me know how the movie is. I was thinking about going and seeing it!

Posted 1 year ago by 3 kits staff #

  15. They come in various colours, sizes and textures . . .

My dad has to do a lot of presentations for the company. He also throws bricks at people in the audience who dont pay attention. The expressions on their faces . . . Should actually put them on youtube . . .

  16. Deb, I, too, remember what I was doing when he raced for the Triple Crown. If you go to the movie, be sure to stay for the end after the credits as they show the pictures and information about the people portrayed in the movie.
3 kits, will let you know about the movie. The zoo people decided to go because we just got 2 new Screech Owls for the Education Department at the zoo.
Time to close things up and head for home. Have to feed the cats before I leave for the movie.

  18. *staggers into the cafe......*

Oy vay! This morning almost did me in. We were out riding our usual bike route and in my rear view mirror I see a rider behind us. No way is he passing us, I think. And he didn't but we had to bust our behinds to keep him at bay before the turn around. We stopped at the turn around to have a drink and here he comes huffing and puffing. Mr. WWM asked me later how it felt to put someone way younger than us in oxygen debt. Actually, it felt pretty good! Then he rode back with us. Nice guy and boy does he ever have all the bells and whistles on his bike plus the very $$$$ bike clothes for cold weather (it was 50 when we set out). Just goes to show - you can have the best bike in the world and fancy matching clothes but if you don't have the legs some little woman just might beat you!!!

Then tomorrow we work all day at the huge garage sale here that benefits Meals-on-Wheels. Mr. WWM and I are the unskilled labor in the antiques department - we are wrappers. So we went today to lay out all of our wrapping paper because tomorrow it will be crazy. And we work all day and then 1/2 Sunday.

I feel a tired coming on!

  19. Go WWM and Mr. WWM! :)

Sounds to me like you're going to earn a martini (or 3) tomorrow.
