   Did not want to post this until after the Austin meetup because my father wanted to see Cindy (KW) again, (he met her last year when she came for the Austin meetup) and meet 2P.

   We found out September 27th that Dad has anaplastic thyroid cancer. It is extremely rare and aggressive. He is going to start a phase one experimental cancer drug treatment program in a few days, as this is the only treatment option open to him. The cancer is inoperable, and, because of where it is located in his throat, radiation is not an option, and chemo would not work on his tumor. He has already put his affairs in order, and wants home hospice here with me. Please put him in your prayers and send the TDK healing white light.

   He is a brilliant man who wants to have a dignified passing, and is willing to help other cancer victims by participating in this experimental drug treatment as long as he is physically able.

    KM, my heart goes out to you and your father. Bless him for having the courage to try experimental therapy, even if it doesn't end up helping him in a direct manner. Hospice is a humane decision; may you and he both find comfort and greater peace with such care.
