  1. Sending my prayers as well. I have tremendous admiration for your dad, someone who despite the possible outcome, will sacrifice in his wish to help others in the future. Bravo!

  5. Lots of Loving Hugs & Prayers for You & your Dad KM. I'm so sorry that about such rotten news. He sounds like a really strong & upstanding person. You must be so proud of him for offering to try something new in hopes of helping others.

  6. Grueling day for Dad's first day in the experimental cancer drug treatment program. Got him up at 6AM and not home until 7:30PM; just got him into bed. He's got another busy day tomorrow, too. He's having a pig inserted and then back to the treatment center for more tests & treatment. Please keep the wonderful TDK healing white light and prayers coming for him....

  8. Wow, it sounds like this must be really hard on you, your dad and the rest of the family. Will he have to make that trip very often? How far away is the treatment center? If it's a long drive, could you find an inexpensive motel or some place like that to spend the night?

I really admire what your father is doing. I'm sorry I live so far away and haven't gotten to meet him.

  10. My goodness - I have somehow missed this thread.

KM, you know that Mr. WWM and I both love your father. What a bright and inquisitive mind he has - two qualities that we both love. And how blessed are we to have known your father and to have spent so many hours with him talking and laughing. While it may seem that to say laughing is trivial at this point... no it isn't. Laughter keeps us grounded.

You know that we are not that far away, as Mr. WWM has told you. We can be there in very short order. You only need to ask.

Many, many hugs to not only you, but to your dad as well.

  11. Maybe we can send Kittymom's dad get well/encouragment cards? I bet he'd appreciate that! What do you all think?

  12. I think that would be wonderful, Bumblebee. KM's father is a most remarkable man. Conversation with him is beyond enjoyable because he is so educated and so experienced. Mr. WWM and I feel so fortunate to count this extraordinary man as our friend.

  18. Thanks again for all your support. He's doing better today than yesterday; tomorrow is a 'day off' from any and all things medical for him, which he's very much looking forward to.... We're just taking everything 'one day at a time' for now.
