Doing Good!!
This morning upon opening my back yard door She walked right in the house and jumped on my chair in the living room. Normally She would not come in right away and i would have to persaude her to come in offering kibbles. I now can walk up to her and she will bow her head down and allow me to pick her up. Since it's been warm out She sleeps in the back yard on her bed with my German Shepherd. I've have'nt tried the dirt on the litter box yet. But I'm sure that all your advise will work and I found some great web site's on Kittens 101,LOL!! She's gain weight and her hair looks more glossy. she has these piercing green eye's. When i first saw her back a few weeks ago I thought that she was a small rat and/or mouse sitting on my back yard door until I observed her long ears. She was meowing and shaking but She would'nt allow me to pick her up. So I just gave her food, water and gave her a bed that I purchased at PetCo. Next will be a trip to the

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!! JUST AN UP-DATE ON SHADOW, SHADOW IS NOW ALWAYS WANTING TO GREET ME UPON MY ARRIVAL HOME. SINCE ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO SHE STARTED TO BOND WITH ME BUT NOW SHE ACTS AS THOUGH I'M HER DAD!!lol.. Yea I gained her trust and her Love!! All is good! Thank U All!!

I've only just seen this thread, what a lovely story! Will I'm so glad Shadow has bonded so well with you :o) I love black cats (well, I love ALL cats!!), and have 2 of my own - click on my avatar (her name is Button) and you can see our whole family. Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you continue to post so we can keep up with Shadow's progress.

There are more things to be thankful for than we sometimes realize. Your success in befriending a tiny bundle of fur and the chance for her to live a healthy well-loved life is something we are all grateful for.

UP-DATE! Hi all about 2 months ago i posted here on my new arrival female kitten (3 Weeks old)that unexpectedly showed up in my back yard with having a male 11 years old German Shepherd in the yard. Well as many of y'all replied, Shadow is not only an active and happy member of my family, She's ALWAYS coming up to me and I can't keep her away from me,LOL!! Thanks All She's doing well and never leaves my back yard, She eats good and both her and my German Shepherd eat together and few times both drank water from the same bowl?? Hope U all have a Blessed New Year!!

I share a home with a shepard, a basset, and a dachshund as well as 3 cats. I LOVE watching the interaction between the dogs and the cats!! Now Noelle still doesn't have full run of the house--she doesn't get the pecking order with the cranky dachshund. All the rest are adorable--especially the big dogs with the cats! Will you made me smile with your news!! I hope that you have many years of happiness and joy with your furry friends!!
