Oh my gosh! What an awful sad, depressing down day it was. I am emotionally drained and need a box of lemon donuts and a jumbo glass of milk. And a kit to snuggle!

Yeah my coworkers grandbaby was taken off life support last night (she was three weeks old today) and was still struggling to cross over to the other side and a dear employee of mine came to me today to tell me that she has less than six months left to live. I cried so hard and much today I didn't think another tear could roll down my cheeks until I started to talk about either again. It was a real double whammy. It seems so unfair to happen to one very innocent baby and one amazing women who adopted a baby from Africa three years ago. He will be cheated by not having his wonderful mother around.

MC - a friend of mine was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 6 months to live. She took herself on a grand vacation with her credit cards -- saw Ireland, Scotland... went everywhere she wanted to go and saw the sites. That was several years ago and she is stil1 paying off her trips ! And has wonderful memories. Doctors are often wrong. I pray they are with your friend as well. (((MC)))

I honestly don't think so. This is her second round of ovarian cancer. You can feel the tumors in her neck and on her side. They are wrapped around her organs and inoperable. She is starting to get confused and mentally not as sharp. She was two hours late to work last week because she got lost. She had no recollection of where she had been in those two hours.

I'm sorry about your friends MC. I pray strength for you as you support them thru these difficult times. I can only imagine....On the lighter side of things... Checkers "killed" a roll of toilet paper yesterday morning. He then hid in one of the kitchen cabinets...it took us about 15 minutes to figure out where he was. I swear this is the terrible twos on four legs.

Amy i'm so sorry about the baby and your friend. Major hugs to you.
I"m having a hot toddy (not as good as mom used to make) and heading to bed. Still running a fever on antibiotics so i'm not a happy camper :(
